25.01.2022 The City Place coltWill also enjoying a swim. Makes it easier to teach them while breaking in, rather than leaving this valuable training form till later. This is the yearlings first preparation since have being broken in and spelled for 3 months. In 2 weeks time they will be 2yo’s and from there they might be able to race as 2yo’s.
25.01.2022 On cold morning what do they hate the most, cold water. Good for post work recovery. Ice bath for athletes.

20.01.2022 The Victorian in the stable. 4yo unraced Savabeel gelding, GoBeelGo, getting a bit of leg work in before being ridden.
17.01.2022 This was the finish photo from yesterday. So, so close. Paddy pulled up well and hopefully a win next time out. 4 starters for a 4th and now a 2nd. Looking forward to popping some champagne for 1st winner.

16.01.2022 This pretty boy is racing tomorrow. First runner at Belmont and 2nd horse to start for the stable. R6, Brother Paddy with Jerry Noske piloting him around. Had a last minute haircut today and looking for a wash tomorrow.

14.01.2022 I would like to welcome a new owner to the stable. I met this lovely lady at Working Equitation last Sunday and she is now the proud owner of a 10% share in "Ruby." Welcome to the all girls club, Karen Booth. Let's hope she can Rock.
14.01.2022 I still have some shares in the Awesome Rock/ Sister Madrid filly left. She will be a Women’s only horse so that she is eligible for the $75,000 bonus at the Magic Millions WA 2yo classic next year. To be eligible she must be 100% owned by females. I have 15% left to sell which can be split up as a 5% share of $1,250, 10% $2500 or the full 15% $3750.This is the cost for ownership, educating to saddle and the last 4 months agistment fees. Ongoing costs are calculated monthly a...nd the total training fee/ month would be approximately $2500 , divided by percentage of ownership. Example would be a 5% shareholder incurs approximately a training fee of $125/month. Variances would occur when horse is spelling or nominations for black type races. So if you have been thinking about buying a horse please consider this filly. There are already 3 lovely women, 1 new to racing in her and we are hoping to have a meet and great luncheon in the near future and decide on a name for her. 12.01.2022 This is Ruby now, verses photo on right pre yearling sale. She has started to fill out and develop into a lovely balanced 2yo.
12.01.2022 "Will" & "Ruby" yesterday at the track. 1st time there and they behaved themselves well after the initial OMG.
12.01.2022 My hobby is showing my little mare. While she is not an OTT , she is by a 1st x. I wish i could have this much success with the racehorses as i do with her. At least there would be money coming in not ribbons. Fingers crossed a winner soon.
10.01.2022 The Awesome Rock filly Ruby this morning has found her sea legs. Enjoying a swim despite the crisp air. Then out with her mate, Melody Manor in the paddock to graze and bask in the sun.
10.01.2022 Well not a bad run when you read stewards report by Brother Paddy. He did do what we wanted and that was to settle and not throw his head around and race ungenerously. So win for us not the horse. He is by Blackfriars so we are hoping he will stay but he won't run a distance if he runs to hard early.

05.01.2022 First win for the stable. My favourite horse Brother Paddy wins a 1400m in Northam. Laqdar rode him beautifully.
05.01.2022 Bought my 2 track riders new metronomes for putting up with Premium Choice's bad bridling manners at the track. Now they won't complain, 1. About how loud the others is and 2, that the other one can actually see the numbers on the face. No more, "you are going to slow".
05.01.2022 Had a lovely lunch today with the ladies only horse owners. "Ruby" is lucky to have some lovely owners in her. They came and met her and i made up some welcome packs for them.

04.01.2022 Exactly a year yesterday when i presented my first runner at Esperance on cup day. Nice to enjoy it with a 1st place from Premium Choice in his second race start. Lucky he won, so i can forgive him from being an ###hole and giving me a blackeye at the track the other day. Deserves a few days off after 2 x 10hr float trips.
03.01.2022 Little grey mare is racing this Wednesday at Ascot after a nice trial last week. Kyra Yuill on board after a treble yesterday at Geraldton.

01.01.2022 Great run today. Finished 2nd so still that champagne is sitting in the fridge. He is now enjoying the paddock and sunning himself.
01.01.2022 At least today all the horses got to trial. The little War Chant filly, Melody, will be going for spell as she needs to mature and she doesn't like wet tracks. While the 2 boys ran well over 1200m, with Paddy winning the trial. Soon to have some race. Will make the early mornings finally worthwhile.
