24.01.2022 Yesterday, Camp Laurence was host to 'The Final EDGE' graduation day for Boonah State School Blue EDGE program. Blue EDGE (Educate, Develop, Grow, Empower) is a program of physical training designed to extend a young person’s mind and physical capability. The program also includes career education, motivational speakers and mentoring with a view to having youth actualise their potential.... The program runs for eight weeks, with two training sessions per week to build routine. It finishes after the 8th week with a graduation day named ‘The Final EDGE’.

08.01.2022 A BIG shout out to these two guys. Jay Irwin (left) was our Program Coordinator for 3 years here at Camp Laurence. He was instrumental in the program development, amazing with staff, students and teachers, not to mention his contagious energy that filtered through the camp! Thank you Jay and we wish you all the very best in the future. Introducing Mitch Adams (right) as our new Program Coordinator and what an asset he is to our Team. Mitch brings a wealth of knowledge to this role, and always strives to bring the best outcomes for student and teachers here at Camp Laurence. His passion for Outdoor Education is evident and we welcome with open arms to this role.

06.01.2022 We are ready! On Monday we welcome Bethany Lutheran Primary School to Camp Laurence, this will be our first camp under our COVID Safe Plan.

05.01.2022 It's been a great first day here at camp with our Year 7 Lauries students. Callan, Duhig, Hogan, Killian & Nagle Houses are on campout tonight. Have a fantastic night boys!

05.01.2022 What a difference 1 week can make for these Camp Laurence locals! Last week the kangaroos were retreating from the heat under our accommodation building and this week they are loving the new green growth from the recent rain on the oval! Lake Moogerah is currently sitting at 15.8% capacity so fingers crossed we continue to receive some more rain as predicted.

03.01.2022 What a way to end the year of school camps! This week we had our own Lauries Year 5 students here at Camp Laurence. They embraced every challenge with positivity and enthusiasm! Well done lads!
