20.01.2022 Honeysuckle Creek is the site of an old space tracking station, used in the 60's and 70's. It's now a camping site in the Namadgi National Park. It's a 40km ride from Tharwa, with around 700m of climbing and some seriously steep sections. Quiet roads and plenty of wild life once you cross into the National Park.

18.01.2022 Top of Macgregor Hill, trying to work up an appetite before I face yet more turkey.

14.01.2022 Since the bakery is closed until the end of January, the only reward is the view.

12.01.2022 New Year’s Day ride up to the Pinnacle. A refreshing easterly breeze reminds me how different this summer is from the last.

10.01.2022 Mid ride refreshment at @bentspoke_brewery with a pint of Pedal Pale Ale. Nice day for it too. #ride #cycling #bike #bicycle #beer #canberra #cbr #visitcanberra #microbrew #microbrewery

08.01.2022 The climb up Mt Taylor isn’t long, but it sure is steep! Two pitches average 25% and max at 37%.

07.01.2022 No crossing here today. Another day of rain and another swollen Creek. When will it end? #Canberra #cbr #flood #ride #bike #mtb #cycling #cyclist

04.01.2022 Lake Ginninderra is pretty quiet this morning. I even got the swans out of their nests. #cycling #cyclist #ride #bike #bicycle #roadbike #azzurribikes #canberra #cbr #visitcanberra

02.01.2022 Mt Taylor is a short, steep climb at the back of Woden. The steep sections are sealed but very rough, the rest of the climb is dirt. Views from the top are great.
