11.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE Effective Wednesday 1st July 2015 the Canberra Fertility Centre or any other fertility clinic in Australia will no longer be able to dispense your fertility medications. If you commence an IVF, ICSI, FET or IUI cycle after this date your doctor will need to provide prescriptions for your fertility medications. These prescriptions will need to be filled at a pharmacy in the same way as any other prescription medicine is provided. Each item on a prescription at...tracts a PBS co-payment of $37.70. The expected average prescription cost for an IVF procedure will be $150.80. We have set up an arrangement with the Calvary John James Hospital Pharmacy. They will keep IVF medications in stock and you will be able to obtain your medications promptly. We have set up arrangements for you to be able to obtain medications on weekends and public holidays should you " run out" of medications. The Calvary John James Pharmacy is in the main body of the hospital and is a short walk (150m) from the Canberra Fertility Centre. Chris Copeland Scientific Director
