For important contact information and details of how you can stay safe and well, please visit: www.careconnect.org.au//bom-warns-of-...scorching-temperatur/ Regardless of which state you live in, during extreme conditions we should be checking in on each other in a CovidSafe way, of course. 03.01.2022 As a new strain of Coronavirus hits our shores, Queensland has implemented a 72-hour lockdown in the Greater Brisbane area. This means that from 6pm this evening until 6pm on Monday 11 January 2021, people who reside in the local government areas (LGAs) of Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay and Redlands will not be allowed to leave their homes for anything other than essential reasons; receiving or providing medical care, exercise (only in your local neighbourhood), work/...volunteering or study that cannot be done remotely and shopping in your local area for food and necessary supplies. We strongly encourage all Australians receiving in-home care in Queensland to continue to do so, as this is an essential service. Rest assured that Care Connect follows the strictest COVIDSafe guidelines as the safety and wellbeing of our clients is our utmost priority. For more information about the safe, trusted, independent and connected in-home support and care that we have been providing to Australians for more than 25 years, please visit: www.careconnect.org.au
