06.01.2022 A big congratulations to Rocco Rechichi from Midland Carpet Court on his recent induction into the Carpet Court Group Hall of Fame. Rocco commenced his first jo...b at the age of 15 at Ajax Furniture and Floorcoverings and in September 1972 started his own business, Midland Furnishers and Floorcoverings at 314 Great Eastern Highway in Midland. Midland Furnishers and Floorcoverings remained at this location until May 1980 when the business moved to a new premises at 26 Victoria Street in Midland. It was also around the same time, Midland Furnishers and Floorcoverings joined the Carpet Court and Furniture Court Groups. In December 2010, Midland Carpet Court moved to it's current location at 12 Elliott Street in Midvale just over Roe Highway where you will still find Rocco along with his sons, Anthony and Matthew continuing to service the Midland Area. 53 years of trading and still counting, Well Done Rocco!
