21.01.2022 Unfortunately I have to cancel the adult classes. I will be directing/acting in a play this year and will be asking for interested people to be a part of that performance.

19.01.2022 Don’t forget the next lot of Matilda auditions are on Monday 4pm-5pm. Please be aware we need the whole hour to let the kids shine and give them the best chance for their auditions.

11.01.2022 For those that auditioned for Matilda please follow my page Castlereagh Theatre Company for further updates. We have made calls regarding call backs for the roles of Matilda, Ms Trunchbull, Miss Honey and Mrs Wormwood. Other roles will be finalised in Week 1 of Term 1. All those who auditioned are part of the chorus with a number of opportunities for solo lines and solo singing. Thankyou and have a wonderful Christmas.

09.01.2022 I hope you all had an excellent Christmas and Merry New Year!! We are returning with classes for junior, senior and adults. Junior classes are Primary Years K-4, Senior classes are Year 5-12 and adults are 18+... Class are held in the Drama Studio at the High School on the following days in term time: Wednesday: Junior class- 3.45-4.15pm Senior class-4.15-5pm Thursday: Adult Class- 7-8/8.30 pm Prices are Junior:$5 per class; Senior $8 per class and Adults $10 per class. Payment is to be made by Week 3 of term. Payments to be paid as a lump sum unless otherwise negotiated. Payment by cash or direct deposit. Students will be removed from class if payments are not made on time unless other arrangements have been made. Please inbox your interest. Classes will commence Term 1 2019.

06.01.2022 Thank you to the students and their support people (parents/grandparents/friends and relations) for tonight and for the year. I felt so proud to see my kids get up and perform as they did was amazing. This was our first performance for this group and I think it went wonderfully. I am looking forward to next year and seeing (hopefully) all these students again for another year of theatre. Merry Christmas everyone. Stay safe and I will see you all in 2019.

06.01.2022 For those that auditioned for ‘Matilda’ for the GHS annual production for 2020 expect a phone call this week with details. I apologise for being off the air last week but I was attending my graduation in postgraduate work in Gifted and talented as well as new literacies at UNE in Armidale.

04.01.2022 Don’t forget final Matilda call backs for the role of Matilda are on today 5.30pm N1 classroom (near the hall). Those that received an email for a call back are expected.

04.01.2022 Unfortunately due to small numbers and other organisational commitments for students, Castlereagh Theatre will not be running lessons this term. Next term I will ask for numbers and determine if we have enough students to run classes effectively. I apologise to those students who came and enjoyed our time. However classes need at least 10 to be able to effectively run theatre games and exercises. Castlereagh Theatre will be producing a town pantomime later in the year. 04.01.2022 Hi everyone. My apologises for the registration form issue. I will not be able to get copies today as I am back at work, however will make them available for next week.

02.01.2022 Reminder: End of season Performance is on this Wednesday night 6pm in the Drama Studio at Gilgandra High School. Show will start at 6.20pm. Students to wear black plus any costume they wish to provide. We will provide extras. Some food will be supplied for students however feel free to make a plate to send with your child to share with the group. ... Students will rehearse 4-6 pm, perform the show, and be finished by 7 pm at the latest. Thanks for your support and we look forward to more Castlereagh Theatre next year-junior, senior and adult group will be running.
