Robyn is a gardening guru and it was great to see so many families take seeds and cuttings. Watering the garden was a huge hit and the Aloe Vera slime tested all the senses. 09.01.2022 This little guy is Darcy. He was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. He is close to the end of his first cycle of intensive c...hemotherapy and he has been in an isolation room in Perth Childrens Hospital for 5 weeks now with his mum. He will undergo another chemo cycle before a bone marrow transplant. However we have one problem, we cant find a donor!! No immediate family members have been found to be suitable and the international registry has come back empty The current COVID situation is making everything more complicated as well. I am appealing to you to be his super hero and share this with your community to see if anybody will become a bone marrow doner. This is such a great opportunity for... people wanting to further their careers was Talecia's advice when she recently met with our Mentoring Expert, Connie Borg. Talecia has had a great experience with the team YMCA WA Early Learning Centres; staff have welcomed her and she has built relationships with the service’s families and fellow Educators in the Toddler Room. The children have really warmed to her! Talecia’s support from her Room Mentor means she feels supported and this has built her confidence and sharpened her practice. She will commence studying her Diploma of Early Education & Care in early 2021 as part of the Thriving Futures’ fully-funded Scholarship program.
