23.01.2022 Hello my name is Kristina Visser and I would be honored to officiate at your loved ones end of life service. They say funerals are for the living but Kristina doesn’t believe that entirely. She believes the celebration of one’s life is for the deceased foremost ensuring that any spiritual, religious or any other beliefs the deceased may have had are respected with familiarity and understanding but she also ensures that family members and other loved friends are included in th...e meaning the funeral service may have for them.. I know this only too well as my mother’s wishes or mine Kristina goes on to say were ignored at the time of planning her mother’s funeral. The only way she found peace was to become a celebrant herself "I have become a grounded, confident, compassionate and knowledgeable professional woman able to converse openly with people from all walks of life under most circumstances giving families the opportunity to be as involved in the funeral process as they need to be". So please talk to me soon and wonder the difference we can make together to our lives. Remember you have a choice of nominating your celebrant. Just let your funeral director know!. A testimonial from Sue, Jan and Judy Thank you so much for the beautiful and heartfelt service you did for mum’s funeral. There was never any hesitation in asking you to be our celebrant, and you certainly lived up to our expectations. The words you wrote about mum and the readings you chose were a lovely blend of lightness and substance so right for our mum - so perfect. Your delivery of the service was compassionate and caring. So many of our family and friends commented on what a lovely service it was. 15.01.2022 Once in a while right in the middle of an ordinary life, Love gives us a Fairytale. My fairytale and beautiful couple Kara and Beau were married on Saturday. The bridal party arrived at the venue in a stunning horse(s) and carriage - a rare sight in Terrigal and much to the delight of the locals and visitors alike as they watched the horses slowly make their way down the hill to the Surf Club. .

14.01.2022 Patonga on the Central Coast was at its best yesterday - the winter day was not like winter at all. It was beautiful as we celebrated Tracey & Craig's wedding day. Tracey and Craig after a very long engagement of 30+ years! made a decision to marry which was to become an affirmation of the family union, of their three girls and their families and also their grandchildren. Their relationship has also been a "Once in a Lifetime" relationship sharing so many adventures including motor bike riding type of adventures!!! May happiness and prosperity always find them, wherever they choose to ride.... I was honored to be your Celebrant

14.01.2022 The photos here are a few of my favourite weddings, indoor and outdoor chapels & some are just in our dreams but I will say that about them all... It's fun reminiscing isn't it? I look very much forward to the next exciting chapter of my role as a Civil Marriage Celebrant to marrying my first Same Sex Couple....Love to all Kristina

09.01.2022 Time to Celebrate! My new website is back!! I wanted to name it Absolutely Fabulous Weddings/Funerals and any other Celebration you may be dreaming of but for now feel free to take a peek. For a new enquiry send me a message and we can get started. Spring and Love is in the air..... and so it was for Kristjan and Mim a year ago.

09.01.2022 How I love to reminisce ..and it reflects on the services I do. I feel the excitement of my couples as I relive that amazing moment when I said I do,,,,We were married in a Church so we didn't have the choices we have now but nonetheless it was perfect. We had an evening wedding by candle light - could it get any more romantic? My father proudly gave me away surrounded by family and friends. Later in the evening of merriment and speeches I changed into my "going away" outfit and we drove off into the dark night and unknown. What a memorable wedding day and a day to remember.

08.01.2022 Once in a lifetime, if you are lucky, someone enters your life who fulfils your every dream and completes you in a way no one else ever could. You share a spiritual and everlasting bond with this person. There is no obstacle the two of you cannot overcome, and you know that you have both been blessed with a love and the love of your child that will endure the test of time. Written By Marcia How true this is for Luka and Malcolm. For them, out of the routine of ordinary life, the extraordinary happened. A chance encounter with a stranger, enthused them to reflect on their decision to marry and the opportunity to make their dreams come true. That stranger happened to me - Kristina and so it began ,,,,,,,

06.01.2022 My role as a celebrant has given me wings - an invitation to soar into creativity with my couple. Today I had the opportunity to conduct a Themed Wedding and as their ceremony unfolded you could not help but feel moved to tears at the beauty of the event.... When I first met my very much in love couple I understood their vision had endless possibilities. I thought perhaps that the family and guests may arrive in their favourite Disney character but not so.... it is also not... about re-enacting a favourite story but more about resonating with the love story - Cinderella. How not only that fate brought them together but the knowing that a love beyond compare is out there and that when they met they would know ... the tricky part was how to find that person again.... but that was Cinderella's story . My beautiful young fairytale couple became inseparable from the first hello and married yesterday. After signing the registry I spoke: Everyone who has gathered here with you shares your joy and joins with me in wishing you your very own "happily ever after"... Introducing Mr and Mrs Hartley The pictures below are not mine as yet but you will see how very special their day was. The photos on the day will be posted when they come to hand.... Blessings to you Kara and Beau See more

05.01.2022 Marriage and weddings for Same Sex Couples Same Sex Couples wishing to marry here in Australia have been given The Yes Vote, implying their legal rights to A Certificate of Marriage, although details of Changes here in Australia have now made headlines around the world we are awaiting for the moment when we will be given equal rights of Saying I Do!. Congratulations to you all. ... The Monitum may look like this for Same Sex Marriages on your Wedding Day! As a Registered Civil Celebrant I am authorized to marry both Laurence and Sebastian or Samantha and Brooke according to the laws of our country. Before you are married today, I must remind you and all of you here as witnesses of the solemn and binding nature of the relationship into which you are about to enter. Marriage is a declaration that you will love, support, care for and be true to one another to the exclusion of all others and is voluntarily entered into for life. It should not be entered into lightly nor lightly put aside. Or words to that effect I would say this to each couple in love, whether you are a heterosexual or a Same Sex Couple. Each of us knows that a marriage is not created by a law or a ceremony; rather it occurs in the hearts of two human beings. It grows out of loving, caring and sharing ourselves with another. This ceremony is not magic, it will not create a relationship that does not already exist and has not already been celebrated in all the commitments made to each other, both large and small, in the days since they first met and recognized their connection to one another. So, in witnessing this wedding ritual we are observing only an outward sign of an inward union that already exists between them. This ceremony is a symbol of how far they have come together and a symbol of the promise that they will make to each other to continue to live their lives together and to love each other solely and above all others. Please contact me so that we can begin planning I now pronounce you .. kind regards Kristina

04.01.2022 Just a thought If you would you like to have a local Celebrant who could marry you wherever you wish (within Australia) this is one of the best reasons I can think of to have a Celebrant officiate at your wedding. As this couple changed their venue a few times to suit their guest list this did not pose a problem for me... however, the date cannot change within the months' notice set by by law and there must also be time to register your wedding but I can marry you anywhere and at any time. This day will become a beautiful story to tell your grand kids someday! - A day too you may have thought was not possible.

03.01.2022 And the testimonial for the Patonga Wedding is: Hi Kristina Craig and I would like to thankyou for such a beautiful outstanding ceremony - the day was so perfect. Craig and I loved every part of our ceremony . You are such a lovely lady who went out of her way to make our day so perfect . We would highly recommend you . And we would also like to thank you and my mum for your little adventure of the confetti in the bed. We had such a laugh especially my grandson who said Kristina and nanny were very naughty- they made such a mess of nanny and poppys bed!! - thankyou so much for making our dayxx

01.01.2022 I couldn't resist this....I can’t help but muse sometimes of my young couple’s choices of readings and or song .Peter and Jen, have many strengths in their relationship, their organic and unique sense of humour, their laughter and their love of eclectic collection of poetry and song ranging from Shakespeare to Jason Mraz Lyrics it says a lot about them. Could it be perhaps this zany honesty and respect they share that keeps their love vibrant and alive?. Before the exc...hange of rings I mastered this reading which my couple loved: It is taken from Shakespeare’s Othello - I can’t help wonder if this is their pillow talk.. It gives me wonder great as my content To see you here before me. O my soul’s joy, If after every tempest come such calms, May the winds blow till they have wakened death, And let the laboring bark climb hills of seas Olympus-high. And duck again as low As hell’s from heaven! If it were now to die, Twere now to be most happy, for I fear My soul hath her content so absolute That not another comfort like to this Succeeds in unknown fate. awe this is sweet..... See more
