21.01.2022 Hi everyone, Due to the risks associated with Covid-19, our committee has decided to postpone our club presentations and AGM. We hope to have presentations instead before the 2020/21 season. ... Apologies for the late notice this has been a day by day process. Our committee hopes everyone is well and stays safe.

20.01.2022 Senior tennis starts this weekend and the weather forecast is positive, so get excited!! Matches commence this weekend, with the Olympic Park courts set to be f...ull on Friday night under lights. There will be 3 matches played, with Glencoe taking on West Gambier (Division 1), Centrals/Uniting vs Reidy Park (Division 1) and Suttontown Tigers vs Centrals (Division 2). Whether you are playing tennis Friday or not, come along and check out the opening nights action, and keep warm with some hot chocolate, coffee, light meals and snacks all thanks to Joanne’s Espresso Express (coffee van). In the absence of the BBQ's, this local business has kindly agreed to attend our Friday night matches for the first few weeks, and if well supported, will likely continue on with attendance throughout the season. Please note: Score books will be ready for all clubs to pick up from 5:50pm onwards at the Olympic Park clubrooms. When you come down to collect your book, don’t forget to pick up a nice coffee or snack from the coffee van on your way through. Good luck to everyone playing this weekend!!

19.01.2022 The draw for the Seniors 20/21 season can be found here

16.01.2022 Hi All, Sunday the 20th of September we will be holding our registration day for the 20/21 season at 1.30pm at Centrals Tennis Club on Bishop Road - time to dust the racquets off and come and have a hit :) We will also be holding our AGM which had to be postponed earlier on in the year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. This will be held at 2.30pm and it would be great to see as many members/players attend as possible and we would love to see some new faces join the committee for the 20/21 Season. Please see Agenda and previous AGM minutes in the comments :)

15.01.2022 Come out tonight for a fun social hit tonight from 6PM, beginners to professionals welcome.

10.01.2022 A really excellent, full day of tennis out at Centrals Tennis Club today for the Club Championships. Most junior and senior grades where represented and it was great to see so many people enjoying themselves while trying their best to win their matches. A slight stop of play for rain gave us a chance to enjoy our BBQ before the final rounds in the arvo. Good luck to our A men, Div 3 and B girls Grey for making finals and make sure you get around them in 2 weeks and support them during their finals campaigns.

10.01.2022 Just a heads up from the Gambier Centrals Soccer Club! Still can enter for trainings etc.

06.01.2022 As a result of advice received in an email from Tennis Australia and Tennis SA overnight, MGDTA has cancelled all tennis until further notice due to the risks a...ssociated with the spread of COVID-19, Corona-virus The decision has not been made lightly and it is incredibly disappointing, especially this close to the end of our season, but MGDTA trusts the advice given and asks for the understanding of its members. Discussions are ongoing regarding the winding up of the season. Matt Charlton - President MGDTA

02.01.2022 Hi everyone, unfortunately with the latest COVID19 updates from the premier there will be not matches or training for the next 2 weeks. We will post updates when we know more.

01.01.2022 Tennis is back! Training and matches for juniors and seniors. Make sure you have downloaded the mySA GOV app to check in when you're at the courts. Key recommendations include: Only people core to playing should attend tennis activities such as players, participants, coaches and operational personnel... Arrive and leave as close as possible to when you need to be there (please get in, play, get out) Only one parent/guardian should accompany younger children where possible. For more info, see the Tennis SA release below. Stay safe and good luck for your returning matches!

01.01.2022 This Friday night the ladies doubles head to Olympic Park for the commencement of Round 5. A couple of intriguing match ups this week. The currently undefeated ...Reidy Royal team take on 3rd placed Uniting Church. Both teams come off huge wins last week, with Reidy Royal disposing of Mil Lel 5 sets to 1, and Uniting Church defeating Reidy Red 6 sets to 0. In the other match, Allendale (2nd) come up against Mil Lel (4th). With Allendale coming off the bye, they will be keen to get back on the winner’s board and try to take top spot from Reidy Royal. Unfortunately this week the Coffee Van is not available, but they will be back again next week to serve up some great food and drinks for the Division 1 players. Don’t forget to check out OGR’s range of vehicles, with one displayed each week on Friday night and Saturday morning at Olympic Park. OGR have been the major sponsor of our association for many years and offer us a great deal as seen below. Please remember to mention your club when you purchase a car from them, and your club will receive the financial benefit.
