17.01.2022 Hi Everyone Just a quick Lucerne Update and we want you to hear it from the horses mouth - pardon the pun Everyone in the equine industry should be aware of the crisis we have experienced in Western Australia this year on Lucerne supply. We have been really challenged at Chaff City in trying to supply an efficient and cost-effective product to our clients with this supply crisis. Garth and Rob went east early in the year to see where the industry was at. This put the wheel...s in motion to find a remedy to the supply problem that we believe is possibly an ongoing situation. As a result of the leg work, and months in negotiations with various government departments we are now selling a Lucerne pellet made for us over east. The pellet is virtually 100% Lucerne hay which meets all criteria and allows us import protocols. We know the Lucerne in the east is a very consistent crop and supply looks sound. So, there it is Please check costings in relation to the pellets being in 25kg bags Rather than the 20 kg chaff product. We are confident going forward the product will be of the highest quality and be excellent for your requirements. See more
