23.01.2022 Happy 2020 ya‘ll! Sorry for the radio silence on my end for the last little while, we had a pretty crappy end to the year so really took the opportunity to spend time with family and friends and take a break from socials.

22.01.2022 Set Design | The Boy From Oz | Construction Process | Savoyards have an amazing volunteer team of set builders and painters. We built and painted this set in 10 weeks, working only on Fridays and Saturdays.

22.01.2022 Set Design // The Boy From Oz // These stunning stairs nearly took the whole 10 weeks to build, by our amazing lead set builder, and were finished off with some Perspex fronts and lights in behind. These stairs were the hero piece for all the major dance scenes in the show. We painted the inside of the steps in a gloss white so we could get a consistent throw of colour when the lights were on. The treads and sides were painted black to really help the lights pop!

16.01.2022 This evening I toured the Lismore Regional Gallery lead by the Gallery Director, DFJ Architects and Bennetts Constructions. Hosted by the BDAA. The design of this project is breathtaking... the whole ground floor has been designed to be sacrificial for flood levels. All art work is displayed and stored on the upper level. Unfortunately, 2 months before opening the 2017 floods came through Lismore and the building performed exactly as it should. Swipe to see the flood levels on the side of the building. Credit to everyone involved, this is a great project and something Lismore should be so proud of @ Lismore Regional Gallery

11.01.2022 I loved working on this kitchen design with a lovely couple who are renovating their 1970’s brick home. We came up with a timeless colour scheme for the heart of the home, that they can role out to the rest of the house in their next stages of their renovations. 07.01.2022 Set Design // Into The Woods // The making of the woods // we had 3 fairly large trees with pathways and platforms as our fixed set for this show. The largest tree was 3.5m wide and over 3m tall!!
