25.01.2022 This is in NO way a replacement for our amazing vets; but this app is a great tool to read up on common health issues; but also helps guide owners to understand the importance of contacting your veterinarian when presented with serious symptoms.

23.01.2022 TEMPLATES Are you looking for your next saddle and at a loss?? Half breed, Western, English?????? Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to have templates of your horse to take with you to make shopping easier? This is exactly what CD can supply. If you are unsure what gullet, rock, twist or bars your horse requires in a saddle, you can have it all supplied to you along with the knowledge of how to use them. If you have any questions please pm or contact Kelly on 0447652022

21.01.2022 Not long ago someone asked me why do you do the job you do, you are dirty all the time, you can easily get hurt, you work in either the freezing cold rain or boiling hot weather?.... I honestly paused for awhile and replied, yep all those things are true, but for me my job is my journey, my journey is horses and their connection with their owner/rider!!! I have never stopped stagnant and ceased learning. I learn and work beside some amazing professionals (which I call fri...ends proudly), I do courses, I invest money into my own education so I can help horses/owners/riders. I have been in the equine industry working full time for over 6.5 years. I get covered in dirt daily because it’s probably off the horse I’m saddle fitting or body working, but that doesn’t worry me. My job is the same as most in the equine industry; it’s never easy, some days it can bring you to tears. If it was easy I wouldn’t be doing my job right. I am not a sales person, not a saddle pusher; I’m an educator. I explain why things do or don’t work and if a client needs help sourcing tack... I help. There are days I bodywork till my hands are burning with fatigue, I stay with clients for hours putting puzzles together so we can understand what’s going on when they are having problems..... and when or if it is out of my educated field I help source the professional who is required. Eg: veterinarians etc When I leave a client after an appointment, they are always on my mind; whether I’m wondering if I can help more or simply just hoping they are ok. I get home to my family late in afternoon /evenings and I start researching, I’m answering messages, returning phone calls, sourcing information..... all to assist. It’s never been an easy job but I’m so glad I do it because at the end of the day whether you are an owner, a rider, a service professional....... we are all in it for the HORSE. They are kind animals that have so many issues because of human interaction and influence, but when everyone works together to care for them and they are genuinely happy, healthy horses.... then it’s just so satisfying. It’s all for the love and respect of the horse. Kel See more

21.01.2022 I very rarely remember to take pics of before and after. So today... I thought I would do a comparison pic while treating. Left treated, right untreated. Mature horse. Yes!!; she was standing square and balanced. Look at the how restricted and contracted the right side is; it’s ok; she didn’t stay like this for long- she is now a very happy girl. She displayed beautiful relaxing changes through her muscle tissue, more consistency and is free moving. She has set a new record for yawning I’m sure After her bodywork and saddlefit she lazed in the sun snoring so loudly. Such a beautiful gift to give an animal who gives so much to others

15.01.2022 Unfortunately WA shares many of the same weeds found in Victoria. Remember to know what plants/weeds are in your paddocks and understand what they can do without proper control and monitoring. Learn to recognise symptoms/signs of ill health in your animals. 12.01.2022 Spending some time with some super stars in Carnavon. It always feels like home here; great people and as welcoming as when I first came here years ago. Pics : moments after treating beautiful Turps. I have never met a mare with such a benevolent nature. Simply humbling experience. Now I’m her adopted mumma, don’t think I could steal her off her owner that easily. Great things to come for her Carnarvon, Western Australia See you all in 3 months

05.01.2022 Hi everyone, just a friendly reminder if you are trialling saddles please wear suitable riding pants. No sequins or abrasive materials which could damage saddles. Thanks a million .

04.01.2022 Exciting news As of 2021, Cheval Dynamics will be introducing Bit Fitting and Bridle Fitting to the services list. Kelly has been training with an international governed body which has developed training with science and veterinarian assistance . WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR CLIENTS???This will enable the owner to learn and understand which bits and bridles will be suitable for their individual horse/s. To compliment this service, if we have horses with difficult shapes and require individual head pieces or brow bands; these can be made to measure in the CD workshop. Exciting times

03.01.2022 Another rather impressive case of sand colic that we are currently dealing with in hospital! Fortunately this big guy is tolerating his psyllium drenches very well and he is definitely passing a lot of sand so hopefully will be ready to go home in a couple of days

03.01.2022 More equine fencing options. https://stockandnoble.com.au/

02.01.2022 A full professional reflock of a saddle requires time. It is not something you can do quickly; it is time consuming to get it right. The saddle is completely unlaced and ALL old flock completely emptied. (Some professionals leave it laced ; for me personally I find it difficult to guarantee every cm of old flock is out, so I unlace ) The panel is then reflocked with new quality flock(fill); this can be wool, synthetic etc. There are a lot of options. The way the flock is pla...ced into the saddle panel is also extremely important. If a person inserts balls of flock it will eventually compact and become lumpy. (Eg; which is what has happened in this saddle) There are flocking techniques to prevent this happening. When you receive your saddle back it should only contain one type of flock; this ensures you will have a nice consistency in panel. Points to remember; 1) Reflocked saddle will need to be fitted to horse. 2) New fill most likely will settle. This is perfectly normal; if you feel changes please contact your fitter and let them know. 3) Reflocked saddles should only have one type of flock. 4) Flocking adjustment commonly done at saddle fittings is not the same as full professional reflock. 5) Not all fitters are taught to do complete reflocks and repairs. Great professional fitters work together to get great results for their clients. See more
