23.01.2022 WORKER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FREE Recognition of Prior Learning To support Queenslanders in the wake of COVID-19, TAFE Queensland is providing recognition of prior learning (RPL) at no cost. The FREE RPL program is a great way to turn your skills and experience into a recognised qualification. Free RPL is available across a range of industry areas including agriculture, tourism, community services, health, business and more. Use the FREE RPL program to gain a qualification that... will support you to maintain your current employment or find employment in the same or a different industry. Our team will carefully assess what you already know and can do. We will look at past qualifications, and current work and life experience to match you to an industry relevant qualification. Depending on your skills and experience, you may be able to seek recognition of prior learning for 100 per cent of the qualification. As part of the program, any training you require to complete a qualification will be fully funded. The FREE RPL program is made available thanks to the Queensland Government, and is fully funded through the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training. For you to be eligible, you need to be: > A Queensland resident; aged 15 years or over who is no longer at school; > Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency > Not an employee; of TAFE Queensland or any Government Department, Government Agency or Local Council, > Not be currently enrolled in another qualification You must also be able to demonstrate prior learning in one of the qualification areas.
