22.01.2022 Dear Members We’re back as of today Monday 15 June 2020 Sub Branch Update:... It’s all good news! Your sub branch executive, in conjunction with a dedicated team of volunteers have been keeping in touch with a multitude of events and activities in spite of the Covid19 shutdown. Branch Operations. The running of the branch was conducted remotely during the Covid19 shutdown period; a special thankyou to Sue Bishop for her dedication to detail in keeping across our branch’s requirements during this period. Volunteer Activities. Thank you to our volunteers consisting of: Keith Harrington, Jeff Townsend, Peter Ward and Clive Connor who made in excess of 500 welfare phone calls to check if any of our members were in need of assistance during this trying time. In the process they also succeeded in updating our membership database with additional email addresses and contact numbers. Wellbeing Visitations During this exercise we received notification that five (5) of our members had health issues and wellbeing contact visits were arranged for all five members. Constitution Review. The executive and volunteers including, Phil Friend and Neville Barnier, conducted two workshop to review the new constitution. Penrith to Pilliga Drought Relief Drive. The following sub branches were contacted by the executive to be recipients of our donation towards the drive: Boggabri, Coonabarabran, Coonamble, Gilgandra and Walgett. Cheques were sent to each of these branches to be used to assist members and their families in need. ANZAC day at home. The sub-Branch organised a special commemoration broadcast on Vintage FM radio for the Dawn Service. A copy of the broadcast will be available online shortly. Member meetings. Our next general meeting is planned for Wednesday 15th July convening at 1800hrs in the Macquarie room, second floor of the club. A tentative date for the 2020 AGM is 23rd August convening at 1100hrs for general meeting followed by the AGM at 1130hrs more details to follow.



21.01.2022 Good Afternoon Members, We are happy to advise we will be having our next General Meeting on Wednesday 15th July from 6pm in the Macquarie Room. Due to the current restrictions with COVID 19 and Star Buffet not being open we will be providing food after the meeting in the Macquarie Room.
