15.01.2022 For the past few years and again this year, CWT is proud to be involved in WaterAid's Walk for Water Challenge. This week, we're walking 10,000 steps a day whilst raising money to help provide lifesaving safe water to some of the world's poorest communities. Safe water is essential for life and good health, yet 650 million people worldwide don’t have access to it. Everyone, everywhere should have access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene. These basic services underpin heal...th, education and livelihoods, and are central to eradicating extreme poverty. WaterAid has reached more than 1.9 million people with safe water in the last year, and over 24 million people since 1981. But there is still more to do for those still without access to safe water. Join us (and donate!) in walking for a difference this week! http://www.waterchallenge.org.au/ https://heroix.everydayhero.com.au//waterchallenge/donate
