20.01.2022 Mia Layzell & Claire Thompson are support acts for the concert and they sound brilliant ! Tickets are selling fast so don't miss out book online now ! Grazing box consisting of some selection of cold meat/zucchini quiche/cheeses/olives/dips/crackers ONLY $10. Dessert bar will be 3 sweet treats for $5 . Food will be available before the show starts and during interval. Limited bar with wine/beer/soft drinks - All funds raised go back into the Hall's Solar Panel Project. And the Air con will be ON !
20.01.2022 Anyone see who stole the solar lights out of the tree at the front of the hall - they would have needed a ladder to do it. Also the solar panel from the second set of lights has disappear as well. Santas boots have also gone, they were found a couple of streets away, so we have decided to remove them
19.01.2022 Great news - due to the ongoing delay to the Court House project, the $15,000 Commonwealth grant for the Court House playground has been approved to be transfe...rred to upgrading the School of Arts playground. The project is being done in conjunction with Dungog Shire Council and equipment will be ordered within the next couple of weeks ! See more

17.01.2022 We are so lucky to be able to host this tour at the School of Arts Hall on Wednesday 30th January 6.30pm, with support acts Mia Layzell & Claire Thompson - tickets online now or there are some at the Clarence Town Post Office to purchase $25 - dont miss out ! Guys, we just can't resist sharing this sneak peek from our Instagram yesterday. Fru Skagerrak and Liam Gerner are on their way to Tasmania for their first show this Friday night.... if only we could sum up the joy this partnering is bringing with words. The music is just phenomenal and the humans themselves so fantastic. Truly not one to miss.

10.01.2022 I have struggled for a few years to find an activity that my 2 boys would enjoy and I think we have found it! Participating in the Free-G holiday programs with ...Gym Matrix has helped my boys find something they enjoy in a safe and fun environment. One of my boys has always disliked using his body to do things and has thought things are 'too hard' without even trying, he's struggled with core and balance issues and self esteem but through this holiday program he's pushed himself and had a go and felt achieved and I'm so proud. Highly recommend Jen and the Gym Matrix team! See more

02.01.2022 Festival of Small Halls tour with Liam Gerner and Fru Skagerrak was a great success with 160 tickets sold ! A big thank you to Ivan Skaines who was the MC for the night, he made sure everything ran smoothly. Well done to local girls Mia Layzell and Claire Thompson, a wonderful performance! This was a fundraiser for the hall committee and Clarence Town Boomerang Bag Ladies pitched in and provided the grazing boxes and sweets plates that were a big hit with everyone. Thank y...ou to Sue Boyd, Venessa McFarlane, Sue Turnbull, Sharon Robinson, Charlotte & Emily Robinson, Linda Anderson, Ruby & Hannah Lynch and Maree Lynch for cooking and serving on the night; Bronwyn Prentice and Jodie Cummings on the Bar and Dannii Jeffrey; Venessa McFarlane for the miles and miles of bunting and Ray Anderson assisting with hanging the bunting; Roy McFarlane & Al Turnbull for hall setup; Helena Morris for ticket sales at the Post Office. 02.01.2022 Festival of Small Halls is coming to Clarence Town! From Stanley to Bowenville, these talented troubadours are bursting to share their stories with you across 1...8 community halls within Australia’s regional, rural and remote areas this summer. Clarence Town is thought to be seventh oldest settlement in Australia, the town situated on the banks of the Williams River. The first white man to explore the region was Lieutenant Colonel Paterson on 25th July 1801. Festival of Small Halls will roll into Clarence Town on Wednesday, 30 January. Doors open at 6.30pm. Tickets available online via the link below or locally at the Clarence Town Post Office.
