23.01.2022 The block retaining wall is complete and the cement sleepers are going in. Lower level wall frames are done. Next up is waterproofing of the block retaining wall and installing agi lines.

23.01.2022 Concrete Sleepers - We love these sleepers from SleepersDirect They are a "forever" item - no rot, no maintenance and the real bonus is that they look terrific - hard to believe these are actually concrete!

19.01.2022 Double Story Hillside Retreat. Alex - our Bowens rep stopped by for a quick site visit, we have a great relationship with Bowens and can highly recommend them. Construction is well under way on this family home - frames are in progress, next comes the roof. As always our chippies from AMZ Carpentry are knocking this out of the park!

15.01.2022 Our brief on this job was to "knock it down" and start again. The new structure is now a compliant building, making the council very happy, our customers will be very warm and cosy in their new Granny Flat in the hills - it's got those 'feels like home' vibes already!

14.01.2022 Montrose continues to progress, the plastering is almost complete, ready to start the painting process soon, exterior cladding is nearly completed and the decking is underway. We continue to work through covid, 5 workers on site certainly has slowed us down a little, but we are still working and completing jobs in a Covid Safe way.

14.01.2022 The boys are keeping it Covid Safe on the worksite. They are doing an outstanding job. It is taking us just a little bit longer working within the Covid Guidelines, but at least the build is progressing as fast as possible. 10.01.2022 Granny Flat in Ferny Creek is taking shape.

10.01.2022 The New Year brings new job starts, this Hillside Retreat is designed by BK Design & Drafting. It's a large 55 Sq double story design, once finished it will be a stunning place to call home.

09.01.2022 On goes the roof! The team from High Edge Roofing were on site today installing the Colorbond Roof, should be done by the end of the week. This makes working underneath a lot more pleasant as we move through winter. BK Design & Drafting

08.01.2022 Structural Steel is in place. Thanks to Skylift Crane Services for the lift and as always our steel fabricator Hitech Steel Fabrications for supplying a quality product. Now that the steel is in we can finish off the roof frame.

06.01.2022 CMJ has just added a valuable piece of Machinery for our construction business. It’s an articulated loader that can have many different attachments. As seen in the picture, it has a 4 in 1 Bucket which will be great for digging and moving Soil / Sand / Rock / Rubbish around the work sites and we also added an Auger Drive attachment with a 350mm Auger Bit for drilling stump holes. 05.01.2022 Getting ready for Framing - measurements need to be precise. AMZ Carpentry will, as always, kick this one out of the park!

01.01.2022 For the surrounding deck, our client selected the HardieDeck System. Not only is it Bush Fire rated Bal 29, unlike timber it is resistant to damage from sun, moisture and termites. It won’t warp, splinter, twist or rot. The system is easy to install and will be gap free once the aluminium caps are snapped in between the boards. Finally, the deck will be coated in durable paving paint which can be updated and colour changed to suit styling needs as the years go by.
