We praise and are grateful for the wonderful work that our Police, Paramedics, Doctors, Nurses, Firefighters and Lifesavers do to keep our community safe. It was such a fun, colourful display of costumes

Today it was our turn - Emu and Kangaroo friends visited the van and learned about staying healthy. 20.01.2022 It has been an absolute treat having Lily join our friends in the Koala room for the past three weeks. Lily graduated in 2016 from SCAS and is now completing a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood at Macquarie University. We hope she enjoyed her professional experience with us!

17.01.2022 Today we finished our Child Protection activities with a visit from Constable Wendy. Our friends listened carefully and were happy to share their own ideas. The highlight was when Constable Wendy turned on the lights and sirens and we were all able to wave goodbye! 11.01.2022 Our Columba Cottage friends wore their best denim outfits today to raise funds and awareness for life-saving genetic research that will help achieve the vision of a world without childhood diseases. The money raised from our Jeans for Genes Australia dress-up day will go on to help scientists at the Childrens Medical Research Institute discover treatments and cures, to give every child the opportunity to live a long and healthy life.

As of 12 March 2020 there are no suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Columba Cottage Early Learning Centre or St Columba Anglican School. Please be assured that we are continuously monitoring this situation and should we receive new guidelines from any Government agency on how we need to respond, we will advise our community immediately.

02.01.2022 Our aged care friends from Emmaus drove by to visit us on Friday. It was lovely to see three of the patrons get wheeled off the bus and have a chat through the fence. We were gifted a lovely bunch of Koala colouring in stencils as we have been on our very own Koala trail hunt. We miss our visits with the residents, and we hope we brightened their day in our colourful costumes!
