09.01.2022 Two years ago, we attended an International Centre for Democratic Partnerships - ICDP Pacific Connect Dialogue in Honiara, Solomon Islands, exploring how digital technologies could be harnessed to improve education & employment opportunities for Solomon Islander young people. Since then, Common Code has been collaborating with Solomon Island stakeholders to build Tugeda https://tugeda.space - a digital platform to connect building owners with organisations providing educatio...n and training. Tugeda is an Australian Aid initiative funded through the Cyber Cooperation Program as part of the Australian Solomon Islands Technology for Development Challenge. If you, your organisation or someone you know delivers education and training activities in the Solomon Islands - or wishes to in the future - Tugeda is now open for anyone to signup and start using it to discover and book venues.
