24.01.2022 Welcome Tasmanian Community Gardeners. A group for all activities relating to Community Gardens in Tassie. A shared learning space for community gardening open for all. Enjoy!

24.01.2022 What a magnificent visit to the community garden at St Leonard's today. So much has happened since the last visit. Super Steve and Sensational Sally and friends... have developed a superb garden, focussing on infrastructure development during the COVID restrictions, building sheds, installing rainwater collectors, glass house and filling the area to the brim with garden beds. Happy to leave a creative project of seed, books and propagation supplies with this industrious bunch. Heart-warming goodness. The garden began as a growing space meeting the needs of the newly arrived Afghan Hazara Community. It now hosts families from many cultural backgrounds. Love it! See more

23.01.2022 Some of the sights, sounds and smells at the West Launceston Community Garden this afternoon. I love the way the currawongs and Kookaburras are curious and come to see what we are doing in the garden.

20.01.2022 Dropped by the Punchbowl Community Garden this arvo. Great to catchup with Lorna digging her plot and meet the resident chickens that are assisting with weed control and fertilizing the plots. Community Gardens are fabulous places that bring people together sharing ideas and a love of the great outdoors.
