24.01.2022 After a long break, since Covid started spoiling everyone's fun this year, Bwana and Swayze made their return to the show ring last weekend at the Gun Dog Club of WA Open and Championship shows . . Our big boss Bwana "Conarhu Meant To Be Bwana" made us proud once again winning... .... Open Show - judged by Ms Anna Courtman State Bred in Show Runner-Up Best of Breed . Championship Show - judged by Mrs Georgina Byrne Runner-Up Best of Breed . . Although Swayze "Conarhu Poetry In Motion (AI)" didn't bring home any wins, she still looked lovely in the ring. A big thanks to Holly for handling our girl. . . It was great to enjoy the sunshine and see some of our dogs back in action again. If you ever would like to meet the Conarhu family in person, come along to a show to say hello. Our dogs will greet you with the biggest smiles! 23.01.2022 This year’s Perth Royal show was a bit different, but it became a super special one for our boy Bwana. . . Judge Mr D Bowe (WA) awarded Conarhu Meant to Be Bwana... .... Dog Challenge Best of Breed Runner Up Best Exhibit in Group Best State Bred in Group . . Almost But Not Quite turned out to be the most appropriate name for this show, as Bwana received 21 points on the day, leaving him 1 point away from his Champion title. . . A big thanks to everyone who has been cheering our boy along the way. Ch Ambermist Serenade x Ch Ralun Nu Look (AI) Our precious Livi was born on 30/7/20, weighing 550g. Mama Mia gave birth to this gorgeous singleton baby girl by c-section. 17.01.2022 We had a special guest today, 13yr old Buster In for a bath/blow dry and a groom. He Has a special function he’s attending he’s going to his owners Wedding. So had to have a spruce up for the photos. What a special occasion is that for him and his owners . He was such a good boy.

12.01.2022 Well what can I say this is 4 mnth old Margot came for her first bath and groom. Not much to groom just her fur under her feet and around her ears. And trimming her nails Mainly having her bath. A little drying with the blow dryer but not much just little steps at first . It’s more for getting them used to being groomed whilst young and for them to enjoy it not hate it.

08.01.2022 Gorgeous Ava 14yrs old I bathed and groomed her in two shifts today was her finish off now fast asleep under the air con.

08.01.2022 Busy busy day at Conarhu grooming! We had 3 gorgeous girls in today 1 x pet groom 1 x de shed ... 1 x wash Lily - Golden Retriever - Pet Groom - Lily was a rescue and very nervous so extra time and care was taken. She was such a brave girl and let us do what we needed to do, even the dryer! Mia - Golden x Samoyed - De shed - well... all I can say is lots of coat we was told mia was very excitable and was actually not completed on her last groom at another groomers. Well... we think she loved all the kisses and cuddles as she was SO well behaved. Lots of coat came out and she left looking and feeling so much better Dax - Golden Retriever - Wash - Gorgeous miss Dax was a little nervous but happily let us brush her knots out and give her a nice warm bath where she enjoyed a massage. She wasn’t 100% on the dryer so we did the end half of her body and towel dried the front half so she still felt comfortable

07.01.2022 Wow! We have been busy busy busy, infact so busy we forgot to post our dog grooms from last weekend! So this week you get an extra dose of goldens Even with the horrible weather the dog’s are enjoying their warm baths and pampers

07.01.2022 What a lovely Sunday morning grooming 2 beautiful dogs. Today we had a Flat Coated Retriever along with our usual Golden Retriever. Bella - Flat Coated Retriever a gorgeous 11 year old with the personality of a 4 year old! She was absolutely FULL of coat. We got so much out of her during her groom, wash and blowdry ... Harry - Golden Retriever a handsome boy who we were told was very nervous being groomed. Harry strutted into our welcoming environment, he was quite hesitant to get on the table but once on he was the best boy! Again a little hesitant to get in the bath but one in LOVED his massage scrubbed shampoo treatment he also persisted with the dryer for a little while, we then decided to end on a good note and let him dry off in a drying coat. Such a successful day and happy owners all weekend

05.01.2022 A gorgeous weekend grooming some beautiful goldens! They all loved their pampers We had 5 pet grooms and a De shed this weekend. It is very important that your dogs are brushed at least weekly, even in between grooms! This will help prevent discomfort and matting. Especially under the ears and in the feathering on the back legs.

04.01.2022 This is lovely Ruby who won my trust With the dryer. She came for a groom today she isn’t a lover of being dried but with lots of cuddles, treats, and brushing , : Ruby and the dryer became friends.

04.01.2022 LOOKING FOR A PUPPY? ASK TO SEE THE HEALTH CERTIFICATES OF THE PARENTS OF THE PUPPIES. "Vaccinated and wormed" was once the gold standard when shopping for a he...althy puppy, but these days this is not enough. When a breeder says puppies have been "health tested, this usually just means the puppies have been examined by a vet for obvious conditions. Ask to see the health certificates of the parents. Each breed (and mixed-bred dogs too) has its own particular hereditary problems and Golden Retrievers are no exception. Failure to screen for these problems before breeding is taking unnecessary risks for genetic disease and often leads to heartache.
