18.01.2022 Dear Families, We want to let you know that we are beginning the process of re-opening Heatherbrae and taking the advice of NSW Health and NSW State Government ...to guide us in this process. From Tuesday June 2nd we will welcome one family at a time, not ideal I know when Heatherbrae is a good place for meeting up with other families. Hopefully we can extend the numbers very soon. These are the timeslots: Monday-Thursday 9.30-12.00 and 1.00 -3.30 Friday 9.30-12.00 Saturday Dad’s and Kids Playgroup 10.00-11.30 You can ring on 47591462 to book in. Of course you don’t have to be here for the whole time and we understand if you need to cancel on the day. When you arrive we’ll be asking some questions: Have you or family members been sick or showing symptoms of a cold in the last 14 days? Have you been in contact with anyone who has had COVID or any illness in the last 14 days? Has anyone been isolating at home? Because of regulations if you answer yes to any of them we’ll have to cancel your booking. You are welcome to ask us the same questions. We’ll be following the Covid 19 cleaning protocols used in our Early Childhood centres, which are rigorous and because of this we will need to pack away quite a few of the toys and we’ll have no sand or playdough. I hope what we can offer at the moment will be useful to some of you and we really look forward to having families back at Heatherbrae. 09.01.2022 Dear families, It’s become clear that in response to the current crisis we need to close Heatherbrae and our Dad’s playgroup, YAWN and our playgroups in Katoomb...a North, Katoomba and South Penrith. We feel really sad about this, we will miss you and your children and the lovely time you all spend together in our groups and we know that for many of you this will be a very difficult time. We will open again as soon as it is safe to do so. We are keen to find ways of being useful to you and we’re exploring how we can use technology to do this and would welcome any suggestions you may have. I (Jeanette) will be at Heatherbrae during some of the closure time and I’m really happy to hear from you if you’d like to ring on 47591462.
