18.01.2022 Well, did you make it to ‘Deckchairs on the green’ at the Noosa Botannical Gardens last Saturday? Noosa Open Studios put up 30 locally constructed and creatively finished Deckchairs for auction! They smashed it! Every ‘deckie’ has now found an amazing home! Great concept, Yanni! A pleasure to be involved!.

17.01.2022 Today we held our annual November Training Day! It drew a fantastic response from our members! From signmaking, mortiser use, mitre and dovetail joints to goblet turning! Many thanks for the enthusiastic efforts of our presenters - the 3 Johns, Alan and Peter- - as well the culinary efforts of cook Simon!

16.01.2022 Some excellent and engaging pieces on display at the Butter Factory, Cooroy. A collaboration between Noosa Open Studios and the Cooroora Woodworkers Club- see the 25 Deckchairs prior to next week’s auction, with Bloomfield’s box and mango bowl, Badger Esson’s side tables and the spoons and bowls by young Jeff Fraser! All over by 1500hrs today!
