17.01.2022 We would like to welcome some very talented students from Glittery Tapping Wonderland to our event for some student performances on centre stage at around 5:30pm. Miss Lou Lou the Principal and founder of the Glittery Tapping Wonderland! 'Everyone should be able to dance and move to music, it doesnt matter your age, size, ability, or disability. Dancing should be for everyone who wants to do it, be encouraged and made to feel completely welcome, all of the time.... I feel it is important that each student, young or old, is encouraged to dance to the best that they can be not at the standard of the person dancing next to them, and dance and strive and learn for themselves for their own self worth, confidence and enjoyment.'

16.01.2022 The photos will say more than words possibly can about how wonderful the fair was. This is the first instalment of many. Thanks to Mike Davis and Brett Wooderson for their photographic contributions. The highlight for me was seeing so many children, parents, grandparents, teachers, staff and our local community members enjoying themselves. There are many thank-yous to come in our final newsletter but for now Id like to thank the fair committee once again for the many days,... hours and minutes they dedicated to this event : Felicity Meisel, Virginia Dooley, Glen Dymond, Kylie Wooderson, Hayley Dymond, Trish Ord, Kasia O Shea and special thanks to Mitzie Korlevic. 13.01.2022 We are delighted to welcome Sendai Karate Club Carrum Downs to our special event to share with all The Cornish families and friends the benefits of training Karate. Sendai Karate will be providing us with an on stage demonstration at around 5:40pm as well as a number of free 20 minutes sessions where young and not so young will be able to experience first hand some basic Karate techniques in a fun and safe manner. No experience needed and it is suitable to all fitness le...vels. There will be a special discount for all Cornish students who wish to join Sendai Karate Club. Whatever the day brings, wed like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Cornish and local community for all of their donations, enthusiasm, time & support. In addition to the extremely hardworking and dedicated fair committee including Felicity Meisel, Mitzie Korlevic, Virginia Dooley, Kylie Wooderson, Kasia O Shea, Glen Dymond and Trish Ord there are many others who have been so generous wit...h their time and support. I have made it with a repurposed vintage clip-back earring and some vintage pearlised beads in a beautiful soft yellow. The earring and the beads both date from the late 1950s to 1960s.
