17.01.2022 We would like to say a massive thank you to the Backyard Makeover team and the FNQ Suicide Prevention Taskforce for choosing the COUCH Wellness Centre as the first project for this much needed community project. The new garden that has been created is an amazing space that will be utilised by clients and volunteers of the COUCH Wellness Centre for years to come.

07.01.2022 The backyard makeover at the COUCH Wellness Centre is complete and we couldn't be happier to be the initial makeover for this great community initiative. Thank you so much to everyone who came along to the launch yesterday, especially to the guys from Rotary for feeding us, the ladies from Mission Australia Cafe One for providing the coffee and Jade Creations for the landscaping of our new garden. And of course another huge thank you to the FNQ Suicide Prevention Taskforce and the volunteers who worked through the pouring rain to get our garden finished on time! Thank you!

04.01.2022 We really do have the most amazing volunteers supporting us here at the COUCH Wellness Centre. Today's shout out goes to Leo (pictured below with Volunteer Coordinator Yvonne) who has organised us some Wheelie bins to allow us to take containers for change donations. If you've wanted to support a local charity but haven't yet found a way to get involved, consider donating your empty containers, every little bit counts!
