Cela fait plusieurs années que j’ai en tête un projet très précis de métamorphose de la vielle : LA VIELLE A ROUE POLYPHONIQUE. Un instrument augmenté, nouveau terrain d’expression au service des artistes et créateurs contemporains. Ma rencontre avec Marcus Weseloh et son super prototype de MidiGurdy, puis plus récemment de Barnaby Walters et ses expérimentations nous ont permis de vérifier que mon concept fonctionne parfaitement ! Voici, ci-dessous, les tous premiers essais sur une des vielle construite par Barnaby !! Prochaine étape : adaptation sur mon propre instrument (une vielle électroacoustique de Denis Siorat, de 1991). Beaucoup ont déjà construit, imaginé, élaboré des prototype de vielle à roue avec un système midi ou de l’électronique embarquée. Pour n’en citer que quelques uns : Robert Mandel, Granchamp Jean Jacques et Pierre Imbert, Claude Bonnin, Christian Bigaud, Thierry Naud, Vielles Jean-Paul Dinota et Hervé Prudent, puis plus récemment Marcus Weseloh propulse dans l'espace sa MidiGurdy que j’aurai le plaisir de recevoir début 2019 :) HAPPY. Merci à mes partenaires de la première heure, Raphaël Guénot, Denis Siorat, Olivar Premier. Et plus particulièrement je remercie mon ami Richard Monségu qui m’a toujours encouragé dans cette voie, et Sarah Battegay qui œuvre chaque jour avec COIN COIN Productions à rendre possible les projets les plus fou d'Antiquarks et de ses deux directeurs artistiques... It is taken from an educational documentary film ma...de in 1956 by Georges Folgoas for the "Institut pédagogique national". It is part of the film archive from Réseau Canopé that was recently digitized in Gallica.
