02.01.2022 CQMA Sports Update In light of the COVID restrictions we have split the carnival into two days. We have been playing matches of soccer and cricket for about 8 weeks and the carnival will be for the finals only. We are playing on the CQUniversity ovals. Sunday 25.10.20 ... 2.30pm - Bangladesh community are having a cricket practice match. 2.00pm - Kite decorating and flying for children 4.00pm - Soccer final between PNG and Rohinga for perpetual trophy. Sunday 1.11.20 1.00pm - Cricket final between India and Nepal for perpetual trophy. 1.00pm - Kite decorating and flying for children. Supporters and families of teams are most welcome to attend. We are encouraging good COVID practices and attendees will need to bring their own drinks. There are places to refill drink bottles and we will provide fruit for snacks. Bringing picnic rugs is also encouraged as a way to keep families together and socially distanced. Note: Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. CQMA does not take any responsibility for children.

01.01.2022 A message from our President: Hi Community Leaders, You are all invited to come along to the CQMA General Meeting 1 pm Saturday 28th November 2020 [refer to documents attached] to represent your community and provide information and suggestions to assist CQMA to meet the needs of your community and its members. Working together we could achieve great things. At this meeting, you will also hear about the CQMA activities that are already in place that are helping others in th...e community. This year we would like to have a representative from each of your communities involved in the Management Committee. In the future, we must function as a Multicultural Team where we can all learn from each other - to work, play and live in harmony. This can be achieved through equal representation on the CQMA Management Committee. 01.01.2022 CQMA Sports Update Its finals weekend already! Who is ready for some fierce competition? India vs Nepal - 1pm Sunday 1st November at CQUniversity Sports Oval, North Rockhampton. ... We also have kite flying activities for the kids starting from 2:30pm. Sunday is likely to be a hot day, so don't forget your hat, sunscreen and water. NB: COVID restrictions apply. Please maintain 1.5 metres social distancing. While you are encouraged to bring your children, they must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. CQMA is not responsible for children. See you there sports fans!
