22.01.2022 Finally making some progress on this little #taxipowered shorty. Removed the old coil brace and tray mounts. Completed the supporting fab for hydro bumptops to mount into the towers.... Fabbed up some new laminated strike pads to sit atop of the diff hat's New permanent beefier, tidier looking brace installed to handle it all

Brought it back to life with a new headboard, tidy up of the checker floor and mounts to suit the customers Hilux, and some basic style mudgaurds. Chucked some colour matched powder coat over it thanks to the team at Roma Powdercoating. Relaced tail lights with thanks to Josh at Low Voltage Auto Electrical. Simple and clean

08.01.2022 Alright I know I have put this up a few times but pretty much finished my side so thought it would be worth posting it up as all one piece. For those who haven't seen, I have been building this 80 series chassis, 45 series body and ls1 rig on and off for the last few months but I am now happy to say I am just about done. It's time for its happy owner to sort out the wiring, brakes, drive shafts etc. Definitely been fun building this one. Got the factory 45 look with cab posit...ioning and the OG 45 refurbed tray, factory spec widened guards, but our custom touch underneath everything. 06.01.2022 We have a happy customer. Personally abit on the edge about the bullbar mount on a hooped bar but still built to follow the lines nicely. Powdercoated in a gloss black from Roma Powder Coating - Metal Finishing & Abrasive Blasting and finished off with one of our s/s Logo plates from Precision Engraving & Laser Cutting. That's called a wrap for these sliders.
