25.01.2022 Dont panic but have a plan for work and at home. A good reality check, complacency = risk to business and wellbeing. Businesses need to take the Coronavirus seriously. Have you got a plan in place for limited stock at hand, customers stopping using your business service, staff not at work, how do we keep paying people and bills if the key people are away. are we able to access key business functions while off-site, ie working from home, then what cyber risk do we expose your...self to then? Have a plan, communicate it to the workforce, ask for suggestions as innovation thrives at times like this. If you dont have a plan and need assistance on the process, give us a call and our team can assist. Dont leave it to its too late.

18.01.2022 We were asked to talk about "Teams" today in the business of all sizes

18.01.2022 Poor online security and hacking is alive. As people increasingly work from home and online communication platforms such as Zoom explode in popularity in the wake of coronavirus outbreak, cybercriminals are taking advantage of the spike in usage by registering new fake "Zoom" domains and malicious "Zoom" executable files in an attempt to trick people into downloading malware on their devices. Be safe online more than ever, contact a #local IT provider for assistance or better virus software and backups. https://thehackernews.com/2020//zoom-video-coronavirus.html

If you as a business have people working from home please consider your company infrastructure and access to it. Has your employee got a good virus software and firewall in place, how do they access your information or network remotely. 06.01.2022 CROSS Asia Pacific dont like business as usual and try to look for solutions outside the square. We approached the Federal Government for funding for an asset that would assist in better patient care in the sky as well as clinicians well being over long trips. This is a Nine News report on our proposal.

03.01.2022 Quad bikes claim another victim and the list grows. In the workplace, these items of plant have been used for a long time to get around as an easy mode of transport but when used as part of business activity, the WHS act/regs and other guidance information come into play and must be addressed. Have you done a risk assessment for the activities undertaken, is it safe, has training been conducted. Has the business owner considered a side by side means of transport with seat belts and rollover protection? Give us a call or email if you need to understand how to better assess the risk.

02.01.2022 We were frustrated to read an article today about the lack of aeromedical service and teaching platforms in the ABC rural news. CROSS Asia Pacific has been for the past 3 years trying to get governments to fund our proposal which is cheaper and better for the Qld budget and patient care while providing a great teaching platform for student flight nurses and Doctors. https://www.abc.net.au//need-for-more-aeromedica/12102878

02.01.2022 Personal and business #risks come in all shapes and sizes. This year there is especially a higher risk around signing documents and dating them. #Fraud is an ongoing risk we need to be aware of and monitor at all times. With the calendar rolling over to 2020, people signing documents need to be more aware and not to short cut or abbreviate the year 2020. By writing out the date as 01/01/20 (January 1, 2020), the date can be fraudulently changed to 2019, 2021, or any other date in this century. Instead, make sure when youre dating documents in 2020 that you write the year out in full to protect yourself against potential fraud. It is also suggested this be rolled out within software where dates are populated. #contracts #wills #cheque #statements #witnessstatement

01.01.2022 As you may be aware, health authorities across the nation are currently responding to the emergence in Australia of the Coronavirus that has emanated from China. Attached is information from Queensland Health advising that if anyone becomes sick (e.g. fever, flu-like symptoms, sore throat, headaches, breathing difficulties) after recently having links to Wuhan or the Province of Hubei within China, or having contact with someone who is a confirmed case, they should present immediately to a doctor if unwell
