22.01.2022 Cub Leaders: Have you put your posters up in the hall? Make sure your Cubs know about Cuboree and the requirements of the Camp Out Badge.

19.01.2022 We have had a busy time talking to all the Cubs from Bays Region about Cuboree X. About 500 Cubs attended the Adventurous Activity Extravaganza camp at Gilwell Park and learned about what a Cuboree is. Many will be eligible to attend in September-October of 2020.

13.01.2022 At the Gippsland region youth forum held at Trafalgar, we had a chat to the Cubs about Cuboree X in 2020. Some very keen Cubs will be spreading the word to their Packs throughout Gippsland. They were excited and we were excited too!

13.01.2022 COVID-19 Virus and Cuboree Cuboree applications remain open. Under the standard Cuboree cancellation rules, applications that are withdrawn before the 30th June 2020 will receive a full refund. If the event is cancelled due to impacts of the COVID-19 virus, all applicants will receive a full refund.

12.01.2022 It’s still 15 months away, but applications for Cuboree X 2020 have officially opened! The theme for our 10th Victorian Cuboree is New Horizons. Held at Gilwell Park in Gembrook, there will be 5 action-packed days for Cub Scouts to enjoy camping together and participating in amazing activities. When is it on? Monday 28th September Friday 2nd October 2020... Who can attend? Cubs must be younger than 11 at the time of Cuboree (having been born on or after the 28th of September 2009) and meet the requirements of the Camp Out badge. Eligible Cubs, Venturers, Rovers, Leaders and registered adult : supporters can generate a PIN and enrol now at the Cuboree website www.cuboree.com.au

05.01.2022 Cuboree Badges are on their way! All Victorian Cubs who are eligible to attend Cuboree X in September 2020 will receive a badge, letter and postcard in the mail. The badge can be sewn on the front of your Cub shirt. The postcard details the steps needed to earn your Campout Badge, a prerequisite for attending Cuboree. Cub Leaders: your badge will be sent to you in the next few weeks.

04.01.2022 Are you thinking about attending Cuboree? Do you want to learn more about it? You can now download and play "The Cuboree Board Game"! Cubs, you can print the game board and deck of cards on a colour printer, grab a dice and some counters, and play with your friends or family. Cub Leaders, maybe you can get the Cubs to play it in their Sixes on a Pack Night?... The game is available at the newly created "Cuboree X Resources" page on the Scouts Victoria website. https://scoutsvictoria.com.au//e/cubs/cuboree-x-resources/

04.01.2022 Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 virus, Cuboree X has been postponed and will not proceed as planned in September/October 2020. The Cuboree team are now planning something very special to mark the 10th Victorian Cuboree, and will share details when the future is more certain. Applications for Cuboree are no longer being accepted. If you have made payments towards attending, a full refund will be provided as soon as we can. Please be patient; it's a big job.

04.01.2022 Last week, over 1,100 Cuboree badges were mailed out to Cub Leaders around Victoria. This week, each Cub Pack in Victoria will be mailed a poster pack promoting Cuboree, along with information on how Cubs can earn their Camp Out badge. So you should start to see the Cuboree logo popping up everywhere. Now is the time to register for Cuboree, or ask your leaders for more information if you not sure what it's all about (hint: it's the biggest event in a Cub Scout's life for 2020!).

02.01.2022 The last few weeks have been busy with promotion of Cuboree at "Anything Goes" (Venturers) and "Kangaree" (Joeys). Many Venturers are planning on attending to help organise and run activities, plus have a fun time with their friends. Some Joeys will be linking up to Cubs in the next few months and are eligible to attend Cuboree in September. If you are at Kangaree, make sure you pop in at the Cuboree marquee near the dining pavilion and find out what Cuboree is all about!

02.01.2022 In one years time, thousands of Cubs, Leaders, Venturers, Rovers and adult supporters will be at Cuboree in Gilwell Park, Gembrook! The tenth Victorian Cuboree will be bigger, bolder and reaching out to new horizons in Scouting. Are you planning on attending? What are you excited about?
