23.01.2022 New boat in the water! Cook your own Dinner 2! We had fun trying to figure out what the 2 balls were on the back! Apparently they are a good luck charm! Thanks Ikon 20! Nationals start today and lots of wind! Speed, speed, speed!

22.01.2022 Proof that it’s not sexual but the massage gun is getting some squeals from Issi Declerck

22.01.2022 As we prepare for another day on the water, our team of strong and privileged women, who are treated with kindness, equality and respect by our fellow sailors, will continue to do our part in making the world a better place for the vulnerable and miss treated women and girls. Wouldn’t it be nice for there to be no need for International Women’s Day!

22.01.2022 Sadly we haven't been able to finish off the season tonight in style due to Covid-19, however well done to the Cook Your Own Dinner team for a fun and very successful season. The highlight was certainly winning the Female Division of the 2020 Australian Championship along with a very successful State Championship. Well done girls on commitment and determination in some pretty windy and tricky days on the Derwent and on Spring Bay. Thanks to the entire SB20 community for some ...great laughs and fabulous support along the way. Thanks to Peter Johnston Ship Chandlers (Will and Sam) for helping with our boat work and to the DSS and RYCT for running a great season. Here's to things settling down in the world so that we can get sailing again soon. Stay safe. #felicityallison #bridgethutton #melissaford #issideclerk #lucyrees #jillabel #peterjohnstonshipchandlers See more

11.01.2022 Rope time! We are starting to get quite a few early bird halyard and sheet orders for the coming season. This particular set is for a local boat planning to co...mpete in this years S2H. For jobs like this we are after a low stretch line, that is strong and resistant to chafe. We sourced this rope from our friends at IRB Australia. They can make custom lines perfectly suited any application. The pictured lines are all 8mm sk78 Dyneema in a 50/50 Polyester-Technora blend cover. The working end has been tapered with a Dyneema chafe guard added to protect the splice and bearing point. The only step left is to paint the working end in Marlow Armour coat and the halyard will be ready to go. From experience we have found that the Polyester/Technora blend cover has been lasting twice if not three times longer than a regular polyester cover in general use. If you are interested in taking your rope game to the next level we can help!

08.01.2022 The girls are back on the water!

08.01.2022 To our SB20 friends in Australia and worldwide, we hope you and your families are keeping safe in these extremely difficult times. While sailing events are few... and far between at the moment, we hope you find that this wrap of the Spring Bay Mill SB20 Australian Championship 2020 brings you some sailing joy. For those that may have missed the action, the regatta was sailed on the east coast of Tasmania on Spring Bay in March 2020, and was hosted by the Spring Bay Boat Club which is based in the town of Triabunna. The east coast of Tasmania is usually a blue sky blue sea experience, but unfortunately our regatta was held on an uncharacteristically grey weekend. Regardless, there were sunny personalities and fun times, both on and off the water, throughout the entire weekend. Our thanks go to the Spring Bay Boat Club, the Derwent Sailing Squadron, Spring Bay Mill and the Tasmanian Government through Events Tasmania, for their support for the championship. And our final thanks are extended to our fantastic cameraman, Pete Harmsen and his dedicated media boat driver, Richard Goodfellow. The shots that we take and the footage that we film is only possible when we have media boat drivers that put the boat just where we need it to be, without getting in the way of the sailing. So to Pete, Richard and our stills media boat driver David Smith, an enormous thank you.
