25.01.2022 This afternoon we were treated to a performance called In Motion by the En Pointe Youth Dance Company. This is a small not for profit company which not only gives the dancers the chance to work with local and interstate choreographers but also instils the value of giving back by raising much needed funds for cancer charities. If you are looking for something to do this evening, head along to the Peacock Theatre, grab some tickets and have a look. It is well worth it. The company is close to reaching its $10,000 target so every little bit helps. The performance gets underway at 7.30 pm.

19.01.2022 Hi Dance Junction customers, Unfortunately the restaurant above our shop had a fire last night and our shop has suffered some damage. As a result we cannot trade for a couple of days. We appreciate that there are many of you who will need things in the coming days and weeks and we are trying to resolve things as quickly as possible so that we can continue to serve you in the best possible way. 07.01.2022 To anyone who called in today to see us, we are sorry you found us closed. Unfortunately when we arrived to open, the building owner was erecting some scaffolding to repair the roof that burnt out back in January. The scaffolding prevented us from accessing the door and the footpath was closed so we made the decision to close. We are told all should be accessible tomorrow. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

04.01.2022 Hi everyone, these are definitely challenging times. This current health crisis is new and it has certainly changed the way we go about our daily lives. I am confident that the dance community will come back from this provided we all look after each other, but I am frightened about what the extreme economic down turn will mean for this little family owned shop, which dates back to the late 1970s. We have seen many generations of dancers go through their dance journey, whi...ch is a joy to be part of. Please be aware that we are adhering to the health messages in terms of social distancing, hand washing and wiping down surfaces with disinfectant so as to best protect those who come in.
