17.01.2022 Please see the below details regarding a Man Walk Special Event. ******************************************************************** Come and join a Man Walk Special Event for teenage young men, dad's grandparents, carers and other blokes on Sunday 8th November from 3.00pm.... As part of Mental Health Week, the Man Walk Busselton are announcing the event in conjunction with support from the The Man Walk community, City of Busselton Youth Services and Rio Tinto. Teenage years can be a challenging time for young men as they transition to manhood. Connecting meaningfully with dads and other significant men in their lives can be incredibly valuable. Effective communication doesn’t always come easily for all concerned with negative implications on relationships, life skills and mental wellbeing. We are inviting all interested young and older men to come and walk plus listen to local Counselling Psychologist, Wayne McIntosh, discuss communication challenges and opportunities at this time of life. Wayne works with boys, men and families every day and has some great insights on strategies to help reset patterns for more effective dialogue, create more quality times and build stronger relationships. ***********************************************************************
