18.01.2022 Dardanup Horse and Pony Club held their first dressage day competition after the Covid lockdown. It's good to see our grounds being used again and our clubs running events and competitions.

17.01.2022 Our trees over the yards were pruned at the last busy bee. More pruning near the playground will be done when time permits. A huge thankyou to South West Tree Safe who donated their time, men and machinery.

14.01.2022 The scoring office and freezer/storeroom now have smart new blinds. This will make scoring in the early morning more comfortable for the scorers who were previously blinded by the morning sun. Many thanks to the Dardanup Horse & Pony Club for organising and funding this project

13.01.2022 There are a few pieces of lost property in the clubroom. Comment below if yours and it will be put aside for your collection.

13.01.2022 Commencing on the 5th of December, tomorrow, you will be required to "check-in" at the grounds. This can be done by downloading the SafeWA app (preferred) and scanning the QR code which is at the grounds as per the photos attached. You can sign in the contact register if you haven't a phone, but don't do both.

13.01.2022 Please note that the grounds will be closed for general riding on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th November for set up and Henty Dressage Competition.

12.01.2022 From the 5th of December it will be required that anyone age 16 years and over must sign a contact register or the QR Code can be scanned with the SafeWA app whenever you attend the grounds. A paper register will be provided and these will be scanned and sent to the Dardanup Shire. Using the SafeWA app allows the information to go straight to the WA Health Dept. The code will be set up and information provided to members. This is required by law. If you object to leaving your details, please do not attend the equestrian centre as the risk is closure of the facility if there is non compliance. More details to follow. Thank you everyone for keeping up the contact registers, don’t forget to social distance, and make sure you do not attend the grounds if unwell.

12.01.2022 Are you feeling philanthropic If so how about helping the Dardanup Equestrian Centre by donating your cans for cash back to the DEC. Just quote our Containers for Change Scheme ID C10315728 when you hand in your eligible drink containers at a refund point. The DEC thanks you in advance

10.01.2022 Just a reminder riders to please close the yards you have used when removing your horses to go home. If the lawn mowing contractor needs to mow around the yards it's difficult for him with the gates swinging open. Please return wheelbarrows to the manure pits.

09.01.2022 The DEC now has a cool drink machine fridge in the main club room. The machine is manual and elderly so please treat it as you would an aged horse....gently! Drinks are $2 and the machine will only accept $2 coins. Any problems......text 0419 925 653 Thankyou to Lisa Silvester from Joshua Brook Sporthorses for the donation of the drink machine fridge

08.01.2022 There will be cows grazing on the grounds from today. Please make sure all gates (external and internal) are closed.

08.01.2022 Exciting news we have a date!! November 14-15th 2020Exciting news we have a date!! November 14-15th 2020

06.01.2022 It was a sunny winters day at the DEC on the 4th July when we said farewell to a foundation and much respected volunteer. Barrie Gelmi volunteered at the DEC from its inception, and for 21 years could be seen doing what was needed to be done to make the centre what it is today. His grandchildren were pony club members which initially connected Barrie with the DEC. When they moved on Barrie stayed. How fortunate the DEC was to have Barrie as a volunteer for 21 years. We have... no doubt he's still keeping an eye on us all from over the fence! Vale Barrie Gelmi 24.12.37-25.6.20
