25.01.2022 Hi all, had a good night last night, first up I apologize to Aaron j and wayno they got 180s last week, well done lads. Full round robin last nite, handy cap singles, and some great darts thrown by John and he got a max aswell great stuff mate, Andrew played pretty good again keep it up mate, newbie mark is starting to go good too. Keep going man well done, Neil got 2 180s and topped the card well done me, see y'all Thursday. Cheers Neil.

25.01.2022 Well folks, Thursday night was very interesting to say the least, we had some pretty good darts from most of the players, really impressed with Roy as he started the night on fireas poor Jeff found out, so great darts mate, we had a full round robin handy cap singles, with some of the handy capers making the most of it in more ways than one. Lol. Some nice finishing from the boys, with pegs of 102 from troy, 100 from Roy, 104 from Wayne just been informed of a 116 peg from l...efty well done princess, and an impressive 85 from Jeff, 180s from Aaron x2 and Neil x2, just going over the sheet again and noticed one or two had gone off the boil after playing well for a few weeks, oh well that's darts and the social aspect of our club, the old saying she al be right mate. Lol. It came down to the qualifying and Aaron looked sure to get to the grand final with wayno after playing some very nice darts, but unfortunately Aaron struck an old pro in Mr Hudson who knows very well how to upset the big boys on the big stage, with Aaron only needing 1 leg to get to the final and knock Neil out, he approached the game very confidently in typical kiwi fashion, but John being John didn't give an inch and knocked him off legless, well done John and very unlucky Aaron. The final was some what of a let's say average standard, but being a long night it was fun, with Neil taking it over wayno. Unlucky Wayne you played ok mate. Just a quick note, we are here as a dart club and also a very social place to share friendship and support each other, if something bugs you and you need to talk please do so and don't run away we are all here as mates and to enjoy each other's company. 24.01.2022 Ok people last night was really fun, we had old mate Les return and he brought with him a mate Jeff, and of course Les played like Les still a hard old player and it was great to catch up, Jeff is a very good solid performer and accompanied Aaron well as they went through the night unbeaten well done guys, the most fun I've had was playing with my partner Roy well it started early as I was not going to good but Roy stepped up and was doing the power scoring, but doubles elude...d us, as I had sprained my ankle at work I was not playing to well, but it's having fun and laughs with your mates that matters, it came down to the last game and yes it was totally epic, Chris and Albert verse Neil and Roy it was one leg each and into the decider we went, as lefty won the bull and started with a ton I replied smashing the ton with a big 26, well it came to Roy leaving me 98 and Chris being left an easy 60 by Albert, so I stepped up looking at 98 in confidence as I failed to Finnish 173,171,169,165 left by Roy during the night, I hit the big 60 but mist double 19, bugger I said, Chris with a grin of a Cheshire cat walks up and fired confidently at a stock Finnish but missed tops, well this was Roy's chance to take glory, not for anything but fun, he threw his first missed to the left, head bobbin back and forth like a chock he threw his second dart missed to the right, then without a head bobbin he held it together and pinged it dead centre, well done Roy and unlucky Chris and Albert. It was a very fun night. P.S one day I may figger out how to Finnish what my partner leaves. Lol we will learn you one day Roy. Cheers Neil. See more

24.01.2022 Thursday nite, well nice to see alot of people there, we had 2 cards full round robin singles, 2 qualifiers off each card, card 1 saw Troy and Neil, and card 2 saw Aaron and Andrew, Aaron Wallis drew the semi out of the hat, and Aaron played Troy, Neil played Andrew, some real nice darts here with troy smashing Aaron and Andrew doing the same to Neil, troy took the final and the only 180 of the nite was troy in the final, well done mate, well done to Andrew your going real good at the moment man, keep it up. 21.01.2022 Hi people, we had a really good night last night, with 2 cards going and the winner of each to play a final, after old mate Les smacks a max in the first game, looked good for that 30seconds and that was that for our mate, just limped home on the card, PJ making a habit of getting 180s as well but his came later, he just could not miss triple 19, after a string of 133 scores he nailed the 171, and in doing so won the card only dropping 1 game on the card to me, good to see l...efty back, as Chris has had a few injuries to deal with or could be just old age, lol. Chris played not to bad last night but the doubles abondond him, and yes he got me, nice game pal, you got 2 of the three doubles. Aaron played well all night very solid mate. Card 2 winner was the newbie Aaron Wallis, after making the final on Tues he did it again against a formidable old darts solder in P.J, well poor Pete had nothing left but a 180 in the final and Aaron won 2_1 well done mate, I can see your enjoying yourself, well done Peter your making alot of finals keep it up mate. 20.01.2022 Hi people, had another good night last night, 2 cards and winner of each to play the final, well god knows how but I won card 1 and wayne won card 2 and again don't know how he won that either, but that's darts, PJ hit another max, well done mate, Gary was a bit unlucky as he played some real good darts, and after he won last week he wanted keep his handy cap and play off 401 again, haha NO WAY ya playing very well so I think your better than that. Lol a beer might change my ...mind , so I to the final we went and wayno was just to good for me, I just could not match that high class he set and it was high class after the way he played last Thursday, I guess it reminds us of how to have fun in the game again and not get to highly strung, the basic game is just fun, well done mate you won 3-1 and those 33 dart legs just killed me. Lol, on another note our buddy John Hudson wired a 131 peg on double 10, unlucky man, would have been ya biggest peg throwing left handed, you will do it pal. Cheers see y'all Thursday. Neil. 20.01.2022 Thursday night was a very nice, lots of people night, and welcome to a new member Mick, who I might add is a handy player. Well done on your first night mate. First of all we started the night with a bull shoot out and it was our part time player lefty(chris) that stold the show and won the doe, well done buddy, we had 2 cards and 2 qualifiers from each, and that saw off board 1 Aaron and P.J get through P.J after a playoff with troy to get in, and card 2 it was lefty who I m...ight add did not drop a leg in qualifying, and the ever consistent wayno bugga that two leftys qualifying who rigged that then, lol, oh well s..t happens, so it was Chris v Aaron and wayno v PJ, then we saw Aaron drop his UMMM gaurd against fellow wrong hander and into the grand final he goes does Chris, and then PJ produced some stunning triple 19s amongst other scores to put wayno away, the final saw left shot some pretty nice darts to put PJ away, well played guys, lots of fun and laughs, 180s, Wayne x1, troy x2, and a ton+peg, well done troy, well let's see if lefty can repeat this absolutely stunning effort next week, I for one will be trying to stop him, can any one stop him?, watch this space people. 19.01.2022 Well what a good night of darts last night, 2 cards with 2 qualifiers from each card, Troy and Aaron of card 2 and John and Dave off card 1, with troy beating John and Aaron seeing off Dave, Aaron beat Troy 3_1 in the final, and I must say Aaron played great all night, when you consider what he has had to put up with and now to be playing like he is, that is inspirational, also with Mr Hudson having to change hands and play left now after pretty much going through the same sort of probs as Aaron, and making semis is also an inspiration. Well done to you both and keep up the great darts guys. Oh better mention Troys 171 and Brian with another 180. Good work boys. Cheers Neil.

19.01.2022 Well what a great night of darts and fun last night, first of all we all at southern darts and our friends all over the darting world send love and heart felt condolences to Vicki and the family on the loss of a great mate and wonderful man Daryl, we spoke alot about him last night and reminest on alot of funny and great times we all had with dazza, he will always be in our hearts. We had 2 cards and as usual the winner of each to play a final, well card 1 was again mostly do...minated by Ian but was upset along the way by PJ, there was 5 180s + a 177 and a high peg of 116 and an almost peg of 142 by lefty Chris unlucky mate, 180s Ian x2,PJ,Chris, and Neil with 1 plus a 177, some really good darts I might add, alot of s..t too as was voiced by Chris, while some of us thought it but did not say it. Lol. So Ian was to play the winner of card 2 where we saw Denise absolutely demolish her opponents and off 501 no handy cap for her, specially after the way she played Tuesday night, some great darts on this card to, with wayno hitting a max, and some lovely darts again from John Hudson, Brian was a bit out of sorts but will come good again mate, there wasn't much swearing and cursing on that side unlike our side eh lefty. Lol, so down to the final and Ian was very weary of his aponent Denise and it showed as missed darts cost Ian the first leg, and was very lucky to survive the second, last leg and Ian powered away with some big scores but this may not be enough as once again doubles eluded him and Denise came back in a big way but missed a great attempt at a peg, Ian found double 2 and won the night, well done to all. 19.01.2022 Tuesday nite was a bit quieter than normal only enough for one card, so we played a full round robin with the winner of the card, thanks to brian for scoring all night as he could not play yet, some very good darts to start the night with that fella Aaron again whippin my butt, but that was the cold game over, as I soon came good, but by the end not good enough as that fella Aaron again taking it out, but not without a fight, and that came from Andrew this time, he decided to play with his right as his elbow seems to have healed enough, man you played some pretty impressive arrows mate, beating that fella Aaron and in the process topping the wins equal with Aaron, he got Andrew on less legs lost, 14_6 to Andrew's 14_9. Unlucky Andrew you played well all nite, hope you can do it again Thursday night. Untill then stay safe. Cheers Neil.

17.01.2022 Ok people, we had a good night again, with 2 cards going and the winner of each to play a final, good to see Gary back, and good to see Brian and Aaron hitting Max's well done lads, card 1 was won by Neil and card 2 by p.j after another 3 way with Denise and Andrew, which became a two way as Andrew pulled out of the playoff??????, well Neil got the better of p.j in the final and won 2_0, well done to all see you on Thursday night. Note if anyone wants to have a go running darts, I.e doing a draw and running it on the night, please feel free to have a go. Cheers Neil. 16.01.2022 Good night last night as we saw 2 cards, with PJ winning card 1 and Brian card 2, Brian beat PJ to win overall. Great darts from Aaron he was very consistent with some cracking legs just the doubles beat him though. Denise still smashing those triple 19s and getting a max along with PJ, Brian also played very well with some good finishing. Well see y'all Thursday an s we will do it again. Cheers Neil.

14.01.2022 Well another great night last night, some real interesting games going on, ok yes the injured lefty got me again, well was a good game, good fun and watching young Fraser getting excited with the game was fun, even a bit of banter at his partner wayno, he's learning.good to see old Dave back too. 13.01.2022 Hi all, had another good nite Tuesday, played handy cap singles double start, well in proved to be quite hard for some, Aaron hitting a 180 but also played quite well too, John Hudson you continue to amaze me a true champ, to do what you do with your un natural hand is nice to watch, nice play all night mate.gary well the only thing that stopped you was not finishing otherwise you would probly romped home, Brian you played very well all night too mate well done. Denise picked... up her darts for the first time in a while and showed these blokes a thing or two, lol funny how they all didn't like her having a 100 start, poor Aaron and Gary where on the arse end of a good old thrashing hehehehe. Oh before I forget Aaron got pants by wayno in one leg, all in fun and oh the winner was me. Topped the card with 5 wins and 1 loss, can't wait till Thursday. Andrew won't be playing for a while as he decided to try racing electric scooters and came away second best breaking his elbow, hope it heals well mate, you could try with your other arm, just ask John Hudson for some tips. 09.01.2022 Ok people, the QLD gov have just announced a limit of ten people in a place at one time, we won't close the club but we need to limit our members as well as not to let anyone miss out on playing, does anyone have some ideas, if so pm me please. 05.01.2022 We had a great night Tuesday, good to see Toke come for a Chuck, after a rough start he came good, good of lefty to turn up for the meeting thanx bud, thanks to Troy and Tammy for the Xmas shout love your work, well we saw some pretty good darts from all players, 180s from toke, troy, Aaron and Neil, 102 peg from Neil, semis where toke v Neil & Aaron v Troy, toke got Neil 4_1, and Aaron smashed troy 4 zip, the final was won by toke with some solid stuff from both players, well done lads. 03.01.2022 Ok guys, the last game of 2020 was last night, and what a cracker, first of all we had 2 cards with Aaron and P.J getting through, and the other Troy and Neil, I must say Troy played awsome all night, on the other hand poor old Brian had a hard night at the office, wayno played well but retired a bit later, poor old bugga. Lol. We saw high pegs from Peter 106, and Neil finally got the magic 170 after trying for most of the year, and a 180 to be even with Aaron on 19 each..., wayno 13, Troy 9, a list will be at the club, well done to all. Semi 1 saw Troy v Aaron and Neil v P.J and it was troy getting Aaron and Neil against PJ, with yes yet another grand final win to Neil over Troy, troy said he let me win, but I think he just ran outa steam, and well you got smashed little boy. Lol, and it will be my pleasure to do it to you again in 2021 buddy.. 02.01.2022 Thursday night was nice, we saw Mr Hudson play some real good darts getting a 180 along the way, good to see the petigree comming out mate. Young Fraser had a pretty good night with some good finishing and a couple of wins, one notable win against his dad, well done mate. Troy had a good night hitting a couple of 180s also getting to the semis along with Aaron off there card, Aaron also joined in with a max, lefty had a great night being crowned the master of the bull shoot o...uts, also a 124 & 130 pegs and going all the way to the grand final. Where he met Aaron, Chris beat Troy in one semi and Aaron beat Neil in the other, with Chris taking it out 3_1 well done mate, young Jeff had a pretty good night to with a couple of almost wins, but played quite well, good on ya man. Reece left his glasses at the club and Chris is looking for his sunnies aswell, hehehe I wonder if he checked the top of his head. Lol, anyway we will hopefully see all on Tuesday. Cheers Neil. 02.01.2022 Good evening people, good nite last night, first up congrats to young Fraser scoring his first 180 well done young man, your first one is always special, and great to see Ian back here again, congrats to you on the birth of your new little girl, hope Natalie and mum are doing ok. 2 cards again and Brian dominated card 1 and played very well, good one mate, and card 2 Ian played very well all nite great darts man, he also had a 180 and some nice ton plus pegs, Les got a great ...peg of 146, well done old boy, well it came down to myself and Ian in the card final, Ian was to good with a 115 peg in the first to pinch it, and then big scoring to put me away. Great to see you back bro. Some pretty good darts from Aaron Wallis too, keep it up pal. it was also great to see jason, fraser, and nikki back at the club. 01.01.2022 Thursday night darts was pretty good, lots of fun with all our mad mates, we welcome back Celine and her partner Joe, through the night she said how much she missed us all, so now she's back, hope she and Joe enjoy the games and company. 2 cards on one card we saw Ian and troy qualify and the other wayno and P.j, semis where drawn and troy played Wayne and P.j played Ian, some pretty good darts we saw Ian beat p.j and troy missing a nice 146 peg to beat Wayne but missed doubl...e 18 by a long way, wayno cleaned it up and went to the final against an in form Ian, and he proved that by taking it out 3_1, good darts boys, 180s on the night Ian x2, troy, and Frank with a great 130 peg on the bull, I must say Aaron j was pretty impressive all nite great scoring very consistent, just unlucky on doubles pal. On the other card Denise was very unlucky as a bit of heckling from the lads upset her a bit, watch out boys, she gunna get you. Over all a great night enjoyed by all. Untill Tuesday see ya.
