09.01.2022 ABSTRACTS ARE EVERYWHERE! And there's plenty to be found along our beautiful Great Ocean Road coastline. It's all about HOW YOU SEE what's around you, and what you do with it. This one already looked like a painting, so I deepened some colours and softened others to get the composition I wanted. Then added a bit of selected high pass sharpening on a few areas. Imagine this printed on a large canvas or beautiful fine art paper! Meanwhile, my photography buddy @paulhoelenphoto... has also been creating some amazing abstracts from his recent aerial photoshoot over the Lake Eyre basin. I'm really looking forward to our long weekend of photography coming up on 8-11 November. There's still a couple of places left if you want to join us on our beautiful southern Otways coast. 01.01.2022 SPRING EQUINOX is here, with its beautiful luminous light and moody skies. JOHANNA BEACH is one of my favourite haunts for big skies and sunsets. This day the wind was pretty wild at times, with blasts of sand blowing up in the gusts, but it clears and refreshes the heart and mind.
