04.01.2022 COLOUR MIXING...let’s talk screen printing ink. Water based inks are great for printing on textiles. @permaset_aqua for example is a eco friendly ink , not tested on animals and has no pvc resins or phthalate plasticises. Do keep in mind that they dry quicker so keep your screen flooded between prints on warm days. When using inks, your final colour will depend on a few things. What it looks like wet is not what it tends to look like once completely dry. It can depend on your screen, mesh and squeegee ( its important those are good quality ) and also on the number of pulls and pressure applied. Always best to do lots of test prints on your fabric first until you get the desired effect. #screenprinting
