17.01.2022 Today, both year 5/6 classes participated in the QLD Olympics Unleashed Online Program. Usually this program includes a face to face visit from an Olympian, Paralympian or elite athlete aspiring to go to the next Olympic Games. However, due to Covid, all sessions were online this year. This morning, we had the pleasure of chatting with Liam, an elite athlete competing in the field of javelin. He is aspiring to be selected for the Tokyo Olympics next year and took some time out to tell us his story so far. Liam was excited to visit our school online to inspire and motivate our students to be the best they can be!
