DEMONS now spans the breadth of Australia haha with more stores to come. Rafal and I are still incredibly hard at work on ISSUE 2: TO DERIVE JOY FROM DESPAIR II and it really is looking incredible. Raf's skills have truly gone next level and beyond, no pressure Raf. We'll try to post a teaser from a 3D reference soon to hopefully prove this as soon as we get the time (to breathe). 08.01.2022 A.V.F. HEADQUARTERS Demons Issue 2 Panel 1 - 3D Reference Art work-in-progress In DEMONS' world, vampires have recently emerged from mythology into reality plunging society into chaos.... For those who purchased Issue 1 (thank you! ), in the last panel eagle-eyed readers may have noticed a tiny black A.V.F. van. Almost everything in DEMONS is part of a greater story, meaning and world and there will be continual pay-offs for questions posed. A.V.F. stands for the Anti-Vampire Force, a government-funded organisation which provides weapons and resources to civilians wishing to fight back against the vampire threat. Issue 2 opens at the AVF headquarters, an emergency makeshift base of operations assembled in a basketball gymnasium where Will writes a report about the events of Issue 1. Rafal Banasiak amazingly modelled everything in this incredibly detailed AVF headquarters in #Blender including the Sergeant’s office and even toilet cubicles that don’t even appear in the comic for some God-forsaken reason (focus, Raf, focus! No wonder these issues take so long...). Raf will use this 3D reference to paint from so DEMONS retains its beautiful, realistic painted aesthetic, then add people and many other adjustments. We will post a video soon which better demonstrates the impressiveness of the 3D world Raf is building for which the graphic novel’s panels act like windows. It is incredibly gratifying to witness Rafal’s magic finally bring the DEMONS’ world to life! Issue 1 can be purchased from the wonderful retailers listed at www.wocf.com.au/demons

Everyone was also fantastic to work with, patient, friendly and cared about the final result as much as we did. Before working w...ith them, we did not realise the immense importance of printing to a comic book but couldn't be happier with their results. 01.01.2022 Hello everyone, we’ve been working like crazy to bring Demons Issue 2 TO DERIVE JOY FROM DESPAIR II to life and it is looking incredible. Rafal’s rate of improvement with 3D, #Blender and art in general is phenomenal. With apologies, our priority is completing the issue over social media but we will post Rafal’s incredible 3D reference for Issue 2’s first panel tomorrow to give everyone a taste. For those who have purchased Issue 1 (thank you! ), in the last panel eagle-ey...ed readers may have noticed a black van with A.V.F. on its side. One astute reader Gerald Buttfield has already somehow guessed correctly what this stands for. The first panel of Issue 2 explores what this acronym represents. Almost everything in DEMONS is part of a greater story, meaning and world. We greatly look forward to finally showing you something from all of our hard work on Issue 2 tomorrow and hope you look forward to it too! :-)
