14.01.2022 This week some of the local schools and the Library have had fun dressing up for Children's Book Week 2020 to celebrate children's books, authors and illustrators. This is a great opportunity to let our children know how much fun books and reading are and how passionate we are to share this message. This year Nicola is Angelina Ballerina from the books by Katharine Holabird, Sam is Dorothy from the classic, Wizard of Oz and Robyn is Pigeon from "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive t...he Bus" by Mo Willems. Children's Book Week is officially being celebrated in October this year, but why wait for an excuse to dress up!
