03.01.2022 You will love our brand new design FUSION. In collaboration with the local indigenous artist, Gavin Kum Sing, this beautiful piece has been created. Gavin has developed his unique style that reflects his heritage. He creates amazing illustrations that depict fusion of 4 different cultures: Aboriginal, Torres Strait, South Sea Island and Chinese. One of his reputable works is named ‘Belonging’ which demonstrates ‘Gabul’ the legendary snake who created Townsville. It is locate...d at the bottom of Jezzine boardwalk. FUSION features his original artwork ‘Fish Dreaming’. Barramundi and black bream tell a love story about my mother and father and how a saltwater fish fell in love with a freshwater fish. Each of the elements in this design blends to form the unity of family. Sometimes life has its challenges, but unity of family helps make hard times easier. The net that surrounds the fish is the dangers of life, however, it also works as the glue to keep family together in the process of overcoming adversity as a whole. The yin and yang represent harmonization.
