Thank you to everyone who came along and supported Devonports young people at Reclaim the Lane, The Devonport Sketchbook Project and Youth Rewind. 16.01.2022 Meet Reclaim the Lane 2018s Mural Artist, Emma Magnusson-Reid! She has almost completed her sketchbook and is excited to show us some of the finished books we have received ready for the opening of The Sketchbook Project exhibition next week.



16.01.2022 Some more great work from The Devonport Sketchbook Project. Sketchbooks are now available for collection from the Devonport Regional Gallery up until the end of April. The gallery will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, but open 1 - 5 pm on all other Easter public holidays.

11.01.2022 Inspo #7 If you can cut, you can collage. Have you ever been looking through a magazine and come across some cool pictures but werent sure what to do with them? You could always make them into a collage. Make a fancy hat for a face youve drawn, or perhaps pick one type of thing and make a pattern from them. Anything goes! 11.01.2022 The Devonport Regional Gallery and their youth members committee, The Droogs, present The Sketchbook Project 2018. The aim of this project is to encourage young people across the North West to express their ideas through drawing and writing using pencil, ink, paint, charcoal, collage, pastel and more. These little yellow books can be picked up from Devonport Regional Gallery, Ulverstone LINC, Devonport LINC, Devonport Bookshop, Blue Apple Gift Store and SPLASH. You can also d...rop your books back into any of these places. The last day to return your sketchbook is Monday 9th April. The Sketchbook Project will be exhibited during Youth Week Tasmania at Devonport LINC from Friday 13th until Saturday 21st April 2018.

11.01.2022 We would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2017 Devonport Sketchbook Project. We had a bumper year and cannot wait to share some photos with you for those who couldnt make it. All sketchbooks are now available for collection up until the end of April at the Devonport Regional Gallery.

Be sure to check it out and discover the artworks hidden within the pages next time you visit the library. This free exhibition is an initiative of the Droogs and Devonport Regional Gallery for National Youth Week and runs until Saturday April 8, 2017.

07.01.2022 Inspo #8 Sketchbooks are due back this Wednesday 29 before 5pm at drop boxes around Devonport. Heres some last minute inspo to get that last page in your book finished! 1 minute sketch challenge! Go outside and find an item that interests you. Put on a 1 minute timer and draw that item to your hearts content, but when that timer goes off thats it, pencils down! You may find it easier to rule a small box on your page so you dont waste time by drawing a large sketch.
