22.01.2022 Creating a sense of calm and a space for relaxation in our homes is something that is important and given we have all been spending more time in our sanctuary, there has never been a better time to curate your space. Recently I did a full purge of the junk I had collected over the last few years. I was surprised at how much more space I had for treasured items, and just how many things lost in the back of closets I found, many not having seen sunlight in years. My new goal is... to collect things I love. 20.01.2022 We have been experimenting with glazing in the studio recently and are excited to list some new pieces with blue and green colour ways. After glazing we scatter pieces with crystals. This part is exciting because you never know what your pieces will turn out like or how the crystals will react. 15.01.2022 We’re feeling so grateful that we have been able to both work in the rainbow pottery studio together this weekend after a few weeks of slower production. We spent the weekend making a stock up of our mugs, custom orders and a few special pieces that will make their way to our Etsy shop over the next few weeks. 11.01.2022 What a fantastic day we had at @themarketfolk Saturday morning market at @gasworksplaza so lovely to meet lots of lovely customers and store holders... and the rain held out!

09.01.2022 Teacups drying in the yard. We have been getting back into throwing small functional pieces at the moment. Being home more, we have realised the joy of eating and drinking from special, individual pieces. Today we are making teacups from a tang of clay bodies. We are mixing clays together to create interesting patterns and textures.
