16.01.2022 Interpretation Board for the Tungamah Silo Art

15.01.2022 This is the Mural I designed for the Tungamah Historical Society and is now a 12 Metre backdrop of the Tungamah Cenotaph. With the Centenary Celebrations today (Sun 10 Nov 2019) over 300 people turned out to Commemorate the 24 Tungamah Soldiers who never returned hope from the Great War. In the Museum, there is a commemorative plaque for each of them. (See in photos) Total value of the Mural, designed and printed. $5,000.

15.01.2022 Greenmount - near Rutherglen, Vic. It is an outbuilding on the property which is enriched in amazing history. Greenmount Winery Although remaining unused for many years and the outside appearance giving the impression of disrepair the building itself is well preserved red gum timber construction and contains three levels as was common to the era in which it was built (c1890).... The three (3) levels being a cellar, a wooden main floor and a loft level were used in earlier time for the production of white wines. Days are long since passed as to these earlier wine making processes but the building would appear to have huge potential as to the creation of an historic tourist attraction as to how the processes were in the 1800s. A solid structure in need of refurbishment. The Homestead. A gracious single story period home, built in 1860 by James & Rosina Martin, early settlers in the area. Solid sundried brick construction with the bricks made from the red earth excavated from the original stone walled cellar. Many original features remain throughout the home including original windows, leadlight frames, 4 metre Murray pine ceiling and principally Murray pine flooring. In total six (6) bedrooms, with four main bedrooms within the main structure and two smaller bedrooms across the courtyard (former maids quarters). Main bedroom has ensuite installed. A wide hallway runs throughout with formal lounge, formal dining with original fire place surrounds. A further lounge sitting room again with fire place surrounds opens to the wide verandah surrounding the home and overlooks the garden. The large country style kitchen has been refurbished over the years and offers an abundance of cupboard space and bench tops, spacious meals area with electric appliances. The kitchen opens to a courtyard area, a feature of the era. Two ensuites, family bathroom and separate showers and toilets service the whole residence.

10.01.2022 Living History - Jondaryan Woolshed

08.01.2022 Hi all, Due to ill health, unsuccessful surgery, work and grandies, my history and photo passion has been on the back burner for some time. As I have been able, I have been working on a project which will come to life next weekend. The Tungamah Historical Society will host the Centenary of the unveiling of the Tungamah Cenotaph, which pays homage to the 24 Soldiers who never came home from the Great War. ... This celebration of their lives and their journey will be depicted in a 12 meter pictorial Mural, becoming a backdrop, in which I designed. I am very excited, and cant wait to see the response from those in attendance. After its unveiling I will post here

07.01.2022 When research takes you on a journey of sadness, heartache, trauma and disbelief...when you read a document and the tears roll down unknowingly and drip on the page, getting an insight into the lives and hardships within the walls of a Lunatic Asylum - the most inhumane place and the most traumatic circumstances. This will feature in my forthcoming book.

06.01.2022 Byramine Homestead and Brewery is definitely worth a visit - step back in time! Loved it.

05.01.2022 Currently I am writing my next book. Is has been a very emotional period of research and I hope I can do the entire story justice. Here is an insight...
