23.01.2022 NOSE THREADS *Repost from Academy Face & Body Sydney* Non-surgical rhinoplasty with threads presents an alternative to using dermal filler to reshape the nose. Threads last longer and have a lower risk of migration than dermal filler. This means they maintain a sharper and more refined nose. This lovely patient wanted to increase the height of her nasal bridge, sharpen her nasal ridge and also subtly lift the tip of her nose.... 22.01.2022 CROWS FEET One for the blokes. My client here was conscious of his 'crows feet', or what I prefer to call the 'smile lines' . This is a common complaint from men, especially when the lines become deeper and still remain even when not smiling! I used wrinkle relaxer injections to help soften the appearance of these lines around his eyes. Wrinkle relaxers work by relaxing the sphincter type muscle called the 'obicularis oculi' around the eyes, stopping the creasing of the ...skin when smiling, squinting or scrunching the eyes closed. This client had jowls beginning to appear, so was wanting a small amount of tightening and a subtle lift - but she definitely didn't want to go through surgery. 12.01.2022 ~ Mid-Face and Peri-oral Rejuvenation ~ I used a combination of deep needle and cannula to augment the anterior and deep medial cheek fat pad to give some extra roundness and plumpness to the front of my clients cheeks, preventing further sagging. 07.01.2022 One of my favorite clients, Mel from SkinDeep Dermal in Port Macquarie came in this week for further skin tightening using Aptos collagen stimulating threads for the lower face and also PDO short threads for the fine accordion lines when she smiles. 06.01.2022 Photos taken immediately before and after procedure - significant swelling in the neck still evident. This client was very unhappy with the look of her sagging neck and soft jawline. After having a consultation with me, we decided that FaceTite (Radio-frequency Assisted Liposuction) to the upper neck with jawline dermal filler as a combination treatment in 1 session was the best option for her. I was able to use FaceTite by InMode to selectively target and dissolve excess fat... while allowing for three-dimensional remodelling of the fibrous tissue to tighten her skin. After breaking down and dissolving the fat, we are then able to use liposuction to suck out the residual fat, contouring the jawline and neck to achieve the most desirable result.
