23.01.2022 Our gynaecology consultations are designed to help us understand what you need that will enable us to give you the best possible care and support. We meet with you to discuss your concerns, talk through any symptoms and how you’re feeling, and provide you with a clear understanding of what your body is telling you. Then, we book you in for the necessary tests or surgery to help you achieve optimal health.

19.01.2022 The story so far...

18.01.2022 Positive pregnancy test? A common question we get asked is what is next? 1 Contact your GP to confirm your pregnancy and discuss pregnancy management options, You will also need to get a referral to an obstetrician 2 Discuss with your GP any lifestyle changes you may need to make now that you're pregnantand ensure you are taking a Folate supplement... 3 Contact your preferred obstetrician to make your first appointment which is usually between 8-9 weeks . We will discuss with you your preferred hospital booking. I deliver at Cabrini and Waverley Private Hospital. 4 Avoid Google. It can be tempting to Google things, especially in early pregnancy, but with lots of misinformation out there it is best to call our rooms and discuss any concerns with either myself or our Midwife Lisa 5 You may experience all the early pregnancy symptoms, some of them or none at all. Everyone is different. If concerned you can organize an early dating scan for about 7 weeks through your GP or contact our rooms. See more

01.01.2022 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month #breastcancerawareness #bebreastaware Changes to look for include: * a new lump or lumpiness, especially if it's only in one breast * a change in the size or shape of your breast * a change to the nipple, such as crusting, ulcer, redness or inversion... * a nipple discharge that occurs without squeezing * a change in the skin of your breast such as redness or dimpling * an unusual pain that doesn't go away. Most changes aren’t due to breast cancer but it’s important to see your doctor without delay if you notice any of these changes. See more
