23.01.2022 This 24 year old patient has had a #breastenlargement performed using 245cc anatomically shaped implants. It shows that #breastaugmentation can give a very natural result and help improve your body proportions. I do all consultations and sizing personally to help you find the implant that is right for you. General anaesthetic... day or overnight stay. 1.5 hours surgery time. 1-2 weeks off work 1300304209 to schedule an appointment. . . . Always make sure your surgeon is FRACS qualified. Individual results may vary. Photos with permission. #breastsurgery #breastsurgeon #breastenlargement #drlotz #plasticsurgery #sydneyaustralia
11.01.2022 I’ did an otoplasty today on gorgeous 7 year old Chiara today and she brought along Lily her favourite friend. We didn’t want Chiara to be the only one with a head bandage and mask so one of the talented theatre nurses made some miniature ones up! It always brings a smile to my face looking after the kids and how much they enjoy the fun little things we do for them like this and the ice cream after surgery! #otoplasty #earsurgery #paediatricsurgery #putasmileonyourface #maskedbunny #plasticsurgeon #drlotz #instagram #sydney #aspsaus #asapsau #earpinning #facialplasticsurgery #ramsayhealthcare #castlecragprivatehospital
10.01.2022 Excited to have performed Australias’ first #earreconstruction using #cadaverallograft rib cartilage yesterday!! This 24 year old patient had an #otoplasty performed elsewhere that went wrong. I had already operated once and used all the ear cartilage that I could which fixed most of the problems but left this small kink in the helical rim. No option but to use something else so rib is perfect and the allograft option means no scar and no pain. I have shaved a small p...iece and you can see how perfect the curve is. I then cut it to size and stitched it in place and closed up the small incision. looks good. . . #drlotz #microtia #atresia #earpinning #ear #makeitbetter #facialplasticsurgery #reconstructivesurgery #plasticsurgeryaustralia #fixitup Individual results may vary. 10.01.2022 Major ear reconstruction Part I. Vincent is 19 years old and was born with microtia, where the ear does not develop. I met him last year to talk about what could be done to make a new ear for him. The surgery needs two operations, and these photos are from the first procedure which I performed in November. This involves taking rib cartilage and sculpting it into an ear framework that matches the other side (top right). This is then put under the skin and the existing ...ear remnants are arranged around it as best I can (bottom left). A suction drain then pulls all the skin into the contours. 6 months later (bottom right) we have an ear that looks good but is still stuck to the side of his head and needs to be elevated (see PartII coming soon! ) Vincent and I are both pleased with how it went for the first operation. His second op was done 6 weeks ago. Stay tuned ! . . #microtia #microtiaatresia #microtiaawareness #microtiasurgery #earsurgery #earreconstruction #drlotz #smallears #facialplasticsurgeon #facialplasticsurgeon #niceears #instagramsydney #improveconfidence #plasticsurgeryaustralia #sculpting #artistry #hardwork #worthallthehardwork See more

06.01.2022 As a COVIDSafe business, we have asked all patients to wear a mask and have their temperature checked on arrival, as per NSW Health guidelines. One of my lovely staff will greet you with a smile and a temperature gun, but don’t be alarmed, they’re all ‘angels’. . I loved this photo of Lou (my Practice Manager) in action so much I couldn’t resist sharing it! . .... #nswhealth #charliesangel #sydneysurgeon #sydney_insta #plasticsurgery #cosmeticsurgery #staysafe #covidsafe #drlotz
04.01.2022 A couple of birth year wines to celebrate my big birthday this year! I have spent lots of time studying wine over the last few years on the way to becoming a WSET level 3 certified sommelier. My favourite assessment is the blind tasting, which involves trying to guess what a wine is (grape, country, region, vintage) using only your senses to guide you. It reminds me a lot of medicine where you are trying to make a diagnosis using only the signs and symptoms you get from the... patient. Even when you get it wrong the process is fun and you learn a lot! I have been lucky to try some pretty amazing wines like these . . . #birthyearwine #wineporn #myotherpassion #mynextjob #drlotz #winelover #winetasting #winedoctor #wsetlevel3 . make sure your sommelier is certified and that your surgeon is FRACS qualified !
