08.01.2022 our dogs mean so much more to us than being livestock guardians. Yes, it’s true, that they keep all our animals safe day and night and just look these little chickens, they have hawks fly over every day and still we have not lost one. Also they keep us safe from harm, these dogs have so much more to give them you ever would realise. They are strong and such eager helpers thay are willing to pitch in on just about any chore we do. This is my little Monon puppy Lilly girl. She my new little shadow, she’s such a doll helping me do all the water feeding up, watching these little chicks play.

01.01.2022 Do NOT clipper your double coated dog unless it's a real emergency. This is one of my beauties, Scintilli Storia Di Amore aka Sasha. Showing you how this amazing breed looking after them self with changing of seasons. What is "double-coated"? A type of coat that consists of two layers, they are dogs have both a longer, coarser, water repellent hair, and a fine, downy, shorter, fluffy hair underneath. The double coat provides protection from not only the cold and rain and snow by the longer guard hairs making a barrier while the wooly, soft under hairs keep the dogs warmth close to the body, but they also provide protection in the summer, when the underhairs are almost completely shed or blown out, while the guard hairs catch cooling breezes and provide protection from the heat of the sun.
