21.01.2022 IRONMAN Cairns this Sunday 27 September. A reminder of changed traffic conditions for the IRONMAN Cairns Asia Pacific Championship event this Sunday 27 Septe...mber. There are a few changes this year with a major change to the bike course; the turnaround point is now just south of Trezise Road instead of in Port Douglas near the Wildlife Habitat. This means the Captain Cook Highway can be opened earlier from 3.30pm. The Smithfield Transfer Station will be closed this Sunday 27 September. 16.01.2022 We were certainly cutting it fine this year however for the tenth consecutive year we go into the Christmas break with no vacant properties. Our newest tenants took their keys at 11:00AM today. We are so happy to have the property ready for them to move in for Christmas and wish them all the best with their move ahead of their first baby due next month. We were blown away with their gratitude and enthusiasm. Of course this season has previous form of last minute provision of a roof over the head for new arrivals. As we conclude this "annus horribilis", terrible year, we trust that the peace offered from a new baby 2000 years ago touches you and yours this Christmas. All the best to you and all you hold dear for Christmas and see you in the New Year. God Bless.

Residents are advised to make arrangements for the overnight water outage by storing water that may be needed for essential use during that time. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciates the patience of residents during these works.

07.01.2022 Prepare for king tides King tides will be experienced in Cairns from tomorrow until next Friday (10 April), peaking on Tuesday (7 April). Avoid parking cars i...n low-lying tidal areas and never drive through floodwaters. Motorists are reminded that tidal flooding is saltwater, which can cause damage to cars that come in contact. Motorists are urged to drive carefully and slowly, not only for the safety of road users and pedestrians, but to lessen the impact of bow waves, which can push water into adjacent properties. Council advises that traffic controls and detours will be in place where roads are inundated by tidal floodwaters. King tide levels for Cairns are expected at the following times (other areas may vary): 6.47am on Saturday 4 April 3.07m 7.26am on Sunday 5 April 3.27m 8.05am on Monday 6 April 3.38m 8.41am on Tuesday 7 April 3.39m 9.17am on Wednesday 8 April 3.28m 9.52am on Thursday 9 April 3.06m 10.30am on Friday 10 April 2.74m

01.01.2022 Day 2 of working from home. I set this up yesterday on my birthday. Kathryn and Tara will soon as well. I may never go back to the office . Chris is now the only one attending the office from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday. We're sure he is staying right on top of vacuuming the floors, cleaning the toilet - all of the "essential stuff" . To assist in our new set-up please use a new email of [email protected]. Cheers for now, God bless, and please stay safe.
